Is the panel any good?
One of the best on the market currently. At that price it's pretty damn decent!

Yes! True 10bit manufactured boe technology, bezel is a touch thicker than LG/Samsung's, but 4k up-scaling of anything chucked at it, xbox x low lag and real fald [full array local dimming] make it as worthy as some £3-4k sets, the Nougat 7 refresh also makes the tvOS fly on it as well now.

Tiptop review here #annoying intro but ignore it# which shows why this is one of Sony's best ever selling sets.

If you want something #similar# but 1/3 of the price, the hisense 65" 5300 hukd costco find is worth a look see!
You can apply the same voucher and member discount to the the 49" and 55" models too. I think the 49" comes out at £845.

That's not cheaper than the OP link after you have followed his voucher code ect.

Apart from that how does this compare to the LG oled tvs? For a 55" oled it's around simular price but being a tv novice I'm not sure which one would be best to invest in

Aside from the fact that Quidco isn't guaranteed, plus PRC is also 3%.

So yeah, it's cold.

I've not seen a single LCD set, including the QLED marketed ones, that look better than a current gen OLED set outside of the showroom.

Thanks for that
is the pct75 code advertised on coop website so I can get currys to price match?
£1395 without quidco... still hot.

In the market for a 65”... been waiting a while for a deal.

Seriously considering this!
I didn’t want to risk getting burn on the OLED for me this is the best option. The price is decent for the size and this is the best deal I have posted 200% and going thanks for voting hot. I just hope the stock lasts at this price u better be quick...
Code has expired.
CPA75 worked for me a few hours ago. I got the 55xe9305 though for £1372 or so. Exellent price.
Poor firmware update .... cold
