Sony Bravia KD65XE9005BU 65" 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED TV £1523 with voucher code BFT75 (£1598 before code) at Co-op Electrical. Comes with 5 year Sony warranty.
Think this is now the best price for this TV. Also possible 5% cashback from Top cash back. Co-op Electrical website crashed last night when I bought mine so don't know if cashback works as this deal uses a voucher code but worth a try.

Specs in the link. Gid telly!

Comes with 5 year Sony warranty or would that not be the same cover as John Lewis or Richer Sounds?

Well..

Promotion
You don't need to do anything to claim your extended 5-year warranty - the serial numbers for the selected TVs included in this promotion have already been registered.

If you'd like a personalised 5 year guarantee certificate, call 020 7365 2810. Have your TV's serial number handy along with the date of purchase. Sony will then send you a certificate within 30 days of the call.

For 5 years, your TV will be covered if there is a mechanical or electrical breakdown. If the fault can't be fixed over the phone, Sony will send someone out to see what’s wrong. And if they can’t fix your TV, they will replace it.

Unfortunately in basket it's optional and they charge for 5 year warranty over £200. Unless you call them and ask for details. There might be misunderstanding with Manufacturers 5 year warranty and their own warranty as separate purchase. Some clarification would be required before purchase.

On the item description page scroll down to where it says promotions and it explains it there. 5 year warranty is linked to TV serial number automatically but you can phone for a certificate to be sent out.

I wonder if I can get Curry's to price match and then apply my 6.5% discount via my childcare vouchers scheme!...

Well they'll price match but not inclusive of the voucher code... apparently the voucher code "needs to be visible on the sales page, like the way curry's do it".

What silly stupid ridiculous! Most companies don't post voucher codes on their own product pages.

Why would you buy a five year warranty if it says it is included on the main page? Are you just trying to purposefully get just a one year warranty. I really don't understand.

I think they try to catch people on paying extra for their own extended warranty by not being clear in this subject. I think Sony provides this 5 year warranty on their products regardless from which retailer you got it from.

They clearly state that a five year warranty is included on the product main page. OK when you go to basket the warranty stuff should be specific to what you have in your basket and not be generic and allow you to buy a warranty when you already have one free. I don't think it's Sony offering the five year warranty.
