Beast of a TV

Possibly the most underrated TV, possibly due to Sony's clueless marketing

Not sure about your pricing, cheapest all in one sound bar is £399,so ok get £200 back, surely means your total spend is £1799,unless I have missed something like a further discount?
I think the math is a little off here as the cheapest soundbar is £399.

cheapest is £349 and the overall price can be brought down to 1499 if you dont want the soundbar and you sell it off on eBay or something for the same price?

Just checked Ebay and the model at £349 is on there brand new at £229,so yes IF you sell it then yes you will have paid a lower price, but you should not put £1499 as the headline price without explaining how you arrive at it.

But in order to get the TV for £1499 you'd have to sell the sound bar for over the price you'd paid £349 (its RRP), taking into account ebay's seller fees. Private sellers rarely get RRP, so I think you're being overly optimistic. You might end up slightly better off, but not to the tune of £200 unfortunately.

PS What cj said

PPS the price you've found is actually a deal in its own right, its £100 cheaper than anywhere else on pricespy (also beats pricespy's lowest price for this TV) and with a 5 year warranty. Interested to know how you found it so quickly! John Lewis will also price match (some will prefer JL guarantee), as RGB have physical stores. These are the things I'd go with in a deal post.

hi i found it as this is a tv i been wanting to buy for sometime. went to currys today afternoon only to notice they got some kind of suspicious deal struck with LG as the store was full of LG and barely any Sony's and that prompted me to take the search for XE93 online and then bumped into this deal

Oh sweet.

Ha Currys and LG's RGBW TVs, a match made in heaven.
Just be aware if you buy this that it is an extremely heavy TV. Because of the excellent build quality it is much heavier than you would expect.
Nice TVs to be sure but with the worst menu structure ever conceived by humankind. Want to change a setting? Better set aside 20 minutes or so.
I've read that this TV has terrible problems with screen reflection. Apparently it's almost unwatchable in a bright room. This was mentioned many times on av forums. User reviews are much more accurate than magazines reviews. Magazines watch under ideal conditions for a short time. Users live with the TV and know how the TV performs in the real world. There's sufficient evidence online from users that this TV has severe issues in light rooms.
Do not use RGB Direct. I received a tv for xmas which (unknown to us) was damaged. The tv was wrapped and unopened for 4 weeks. The guy point blank refuses to have anything to do with it as it wasn’t reported within 2 days. PLEASE AVOID.
