Just been into the Currys store in Sheffield City Centre and they have the Sony KDL-32D3000 for only £599.

This is the cheapest I have ever seen the D3000.

I double checked and it is the correct model (i.e. 100hz).

This is an excellent deal !!

Not sure if available on-line, but is definately in store. This was located at the back left side of the store in the "take me away today" section.

£600 for a 32" LCD TV (100Hz or not) is not a good price....

I disagree .. not when the set is so highly rated: ]review

... but if you're happy to watch some rola-cola Vistron set, that's your choice :whistling:

Are you sure that is not one of the other 3000 series sets? 32U3000 maybe, or 32S3000

Both are inferior to the D3000, this is a very good instore price for the 32D3000, assuming you want that particular set

It is worth bearing in mind at the moment when buying a higher end set, that both Panasonic and Sony are offering free 5-year warranties on some of their new models when bought instore from independent authorised dealers (ie not Currys). More expensive bought that way, but the 5-year warranty may well be worth the extra £50-£75 quid to you.

Voted hot. Absolutely fantastic TV and the cheapest price I've seen it.

There is NO WAY on earth that Sainsbury's sell a D3000 for £450

if they do .. I suggest you buy the lot and flog them .. you'll make a fortune!!!

Not sure why the cold votes when this is the cheapest for this specific TV? but hey ho.

Yeah it's some deal cause this is the TV with the built in S-Force and motionflow according to my local Argos magazine which has it at 849.99 I might add.
