Anyone ordered a refurb from Tesco?

I have no problem with refurbs if they are simply customer returns for non-fault reasons. The listing is worded in a way that suggests cosmetic damage is to be expected though. Makes me think they might be repaired units.

If it had mirrorcasr, would of been all over it

Or get the far superior W6 refurb for a bit more here, so so much better than this Sony basement offering.

Might be but still not as good as having a lot of rum and scrolling through HUKD on a Thurs night :D....seriously though, still the guts of £100 more...which opens a whole can of worms with the tech heads (_;)

I'm after a 32" tv just for the bedroom.
Will only get used on a Saturday night.
Anybody know if this is an ok tv for very occassional use and a good price?
Can't seem to find a 32" cheaper
32" TV

Not exactly slim LED.....but for that price, can't really complian. Personally, I would spend a bit more if you are using it regularly.

my girlfriend has 1 and irs ok as far as watching tv. Any more than that like gaming I would spend the extra

Surprisingly basic tv for Sony. Only 2 hdmi sockets of which 1 on this side. Pah!!!!

Nice price for a lower end Sony, However I'm after the W6 although the price on it won't seem to budge. Anyone have any indicators as to when they may drop in price again or when the 2014 lineup is due to be released?

I always find Currys and John Lewis are the best to buy previous years models from, especially if you can get a display model once it's on clearance. Judging by the last couple of years, I think the new range will hit from April

Got the 42 inch w6 from john lewis for 350 in sale it was a customer return. Bargain.
Words cannot describe how good the w6 is, deep blacks, contrast you cannot believe and great colours.
Makes our old panasonic led picture look washed out

Ps this deal is not a w6 model so even though the stand looks the same the picture quality will not be same, just saying

While I haven't had a chance to look around, I'm sure you could find something better for a similar price. The TV in your link is not Full HD and only LCD, which I don't think is as good. I think it looks quite old. I'd have another search, if I was you. Just my opinion.

I'm keeping an eye on the Sony Outlet for a W8. It's worth checking daily as they update the stock regularly, and quite often they'll have all the models but they do sell out fast - which is why I'm still waiting.

Over Christmas they had a 10% off voucher, and if they ever had one of those again it really would make some excellent bargains

It rarely does on this site.

A good deal, all the same.

Don't worry about it being refurbished. I bought a refurbished TV from Tesco before and it was almost as good as new. Packaging was a little scuffed and had obviously been opened, but the TV inside had not been touched - it even still had all the original paper/film protection in place.
What was missing was the original warranty card, but all the other paperwork/instructions were there.
Tesco give you their own 12 month warranty.

Voted HOT, HOT, HOT!

It's an OK TV, I had one. The panels are very prone to pixel failure, normally in a vertical line. They wouldn't repair mine (Sony) under warranty as there was so many issues with them so upgraded me to a TV that cost £400 more FOC.

Only my personal experience BUT...

I ordered a Samsung Led from them before Christmas without a stand. It arrived with a deep 1" scratch on the screen that when on glowed white. After putting 2 + 2 together I worked out that it was an ex display tv (hence no stand). In fairness to tesco outlet the returns process was brilliant, they sent a city link courier to collect on a day of my choice. Before this they offered me a further £50 off the tv (making it £219 for a 40" Samsung LED).

I declined and returned as I dare to think how money hours this tv had been running in demo mode or on full brightness.

I guess you pays your money and you take your chance!

On this particular model which I bought instead. It's a beautiful looking tv, I bought from John Lewis for the warranty so hopefully covered for any problems.

If you want to see it before buying, Argos have the 32" one on display in a lot of stores.

Almost bought this and then saw only 2 HDMIs. Shame! Nice looking bezel on the TV though.

Bought an Acer S3, box was tatty and opened but everything else was like new. Laptop still hap all the original stickers on etc.

There return policy seems quite good too, so I was quite happy to take a punt and return the laptop if it didn't arrive mint.

Slight damage my ****!

Yup, and well out of my budget. The W8's are for £499.99 when they're in stock and that's what I'll be going for
