Sony 46 inch w905 for £844.99 is the cheapest I can see it right now. Got John lewis to price match (took me two attempts) so ive snapped it up.

I was tied between the new 50 inch W829 which has been receiving great reviews, and this TV, but think the w905 beats it at this price point.

Much better than the W8 series although 46" is a tad small nowadays. More interested in the big brother KDL55W905A so if anyone has a deal on that like £999 then please post.

Sorry i meant, save some money in the bank and spend a little more on a Samsung 46f8000 :-)

905 better than the f8000, f8000 to laggy if you want to use a gaming console on it, the 905 is the worlds fastest panel at the moment for a tv screen, but there both old panels now, new range out any time soon, then both the above screens will drop more.

the new w955 is meant to be a bit of a let down according to reviews, with them regarding the w905 as a better tv even if it is last years model!!

Don't understand why this is going cold though as it's the cheapest it's been? (it did take me two attempts to get JL to price match so keep trying!)

Just wanted to say a massive thanks, teecey09! I'd already bought this after a pre-purchase price match of £975, and your deal was just in time for me to get JL to do a post-purchase price match down to £844.99... Saving me £130 that I definitely wasn't expecting!
