BARGAIN !!!! .... I was lucky enough to bag one of these for £349 at John Lewis with their trade in offer which quickly ended and was after another.

Amazon have just knocked £75 of this making it the best buy 32" LCD on the market....

The USB is impressive too, have played all my H264 and Avi files...

The picture and sound is simply stunning.....

Just ordered two for the kids....

They've brought down to this price to price match dixons but I know where I'd rather buy from.....

Bargain

You sure it's freeview HD? Only mentions standard freeview on Amazon, and other sites...

100% certain.... I only get 3 HD channels but deffinately HD... I get ITV HD, BBD HD and C4 HD

On the Amazon site it says
High Definition TV Tuner (MPEG-4) - H.264 (with supported operators): YES

You are correct.

OP, this is the model below the one that was £349 at John Lewis. That was the 32ex403. Main differences are no Freeview HD in this one, and Bravia engine 2 only rather than engine 3 on the 403.

Just highlights what a great deal the John Lewis one was. I think this one has been available at around the £300 mark too.

I'd cancel the order if it's not too late.

I bought mine after seeing it in the sony store in leeds and they guy said all new Sony models come with HD tuners as standard

Absolutely certain, I'm afraid.

Here on amazon is the one you (and I) bought from John Lewis:

Yeah that's the one I bought... so deffinately not the same one (thanks for pointing out), but this one still has HD tuner, just a different engine as you say

Odly enough it's gets much better reviews on amazon than the higher spec model

Sadly, it hasn't got freeview HD tuner either. It is the screen that is full HD. If you can cancel, I really would.

alot of tv's have (MPEG-4) - H.264 but they still wont get freeviewHD, The uk uses a new system and not standard like most of the world.

I think there was a big issue about this as some stores were advertising it as having freeview hd. This thread on avforums seems to confirm it doesn't though:
