There should be loads of these left as from what I've seen on the news people only willing to fight for them when it's a rubbish make ( Polaroid) and is under £200.

I said specs. Not model number. Maybe if you included the technical specifications people might vote hot so they know what the price is for.

Took me ages to notice was worse than trying to find Wally! 2nd pic..very bottom right of the box edge the "Sony" logo...then beneath the white sticker..the "3D" logo.

Seriously I have called 4 asda's right now to check and none have them in stock. Very store specific I presume so cold from me I'm afraid

Think its one is a short description and the other long description. More for searching from the tills or stock inv purposes. Some devices will also only display x amount of characters (like the RF guns you see them price checking with) Know that's the way we have our descriptions in work with several types of searches. People sometimes forget when creating other data from the product tables and show the short description also which makes zero sense normally to the customer.

You should have said Pontprennau store , less chavvy than Pentwyn. Lol

I have just been to 3 the last one in newport did have the stock one but was out of stock.. merthyr is out too and cardiff bay, blackwood and cwmbran...

Some people.....

You grabbed a bargain there OP, I didn't bother with ASDA yesterday as I thought they'd never have the 3D model priced anywhere close to the non-3D Model. Feeling like a right mug now :')

You grabbed a right bargain there for that price, wonder if it's worth ringing around my local stores...

Fair enough, cracking price. (_;)

Have you stopped taking your pills or something? Anyone who's interested will happily spend 30 seconds googling it.

So no sound bar and no 5 year warranty. Good price but I would rather pay £529 for having those

Bought one of these a few weeks ago and with some staff discount I still paid more than this although mine did come with a free sound bar which you'd want as the sound is rubbish! Great tv though, really pleased and bargain at this price even without the sound bar.

Good review here hdtvtest.co.uk/new…htm based on £529 price. 8ms response time in Game mode, so ideal for gamers. Uses passive 3d so you can use those cheap glasses you get at the cinema. If you can find one seems a bargain.

I have this TV, picture quality is outstanding. As for the sound bar that usually came free with it, I have it, and to be honest, it's not great. It improves action films, but for everything else there is only a little improvement. You'd be better off picking this up and buying a better sound bar separately.

This cost me £579 back in June with free sound bar. good Good TV and is 3D

Do we know if the offer is still on today? Just deciding whether to call the stores and find out if there's stock..!

Looks ok deal but it will come down after christmas

amazing

anyone seen this offer anywhere else or is it a one off ?

I got one of these in the summer with the sound-bar and I've really pleased with it.

Can JL not price match this? or does it have to be online..

i would like to know this too. John lewis did say they would price match other stores black friday deals as part of their never knowingly undersold policy.

Great TV and hot deal if you can get it! I paid over £500 a month or so ago with the soundbar, I set it up without soundbar and was happy enough, then I tried a week with the soundbar and couldn't live without it now, the tv alone doesn't have great bass levels. This is obviously old stock they are trying to shift as it has World Cup logo on the side.

I paid 570 a few months ago like a few other people and was blown away by the pq and features for the price. This is a absolute bargain, highly recomend getting one!

Those polaroids are rubbish though, 720p cheapo telly. Why the big fuss?

Where can you even get these?

does anybody know if their have been deals for the 50" w7 or w8 on black Friday? not bothered about 3d and heard the blacks are better on the w7
