Be gentle, It's my first post !!!! I bought this TV on Friday and found it to be the cheapest around (I was specifically looking for a 46"/47"), Also, with a 5 year warranty included that isn't clearly explained even when I walked into the shop and bought it.

Good deal for the TV, just wish it was the NX713 with 3D and it would have been super hot.

well it would not be 799 would it

this is hot for led tv even sony ,was the warranty extra or was it included in the 799?

you must have a big living room? ??

Is it a 50hz Refresh rate?

The 46NX703 is 3D Ready, you just need to buy the 3D Transmitter (£40) and a Pair of Sony 3D Glasses (£85).

This is super hot!

No its 100hz, also this model has wifi. Hot.

The 5 year warranty is included. It's just not made clear in the advert or in the shop. It wasn't until I asked about the warranty that the salesman said it was included. You will find this TV listed in Comet for approx £1300.00 and I'm sure it was in the Sony Centre for over a grand. I hope this helps !!!!

bah im trying to wait to get a 46 inch tv, 18 month old won`t keep his hands off the current 40 inch tv. this is so tempting

Are you sure this is 3D ready?

After looking on Sony Website it states that it isn't 3D Ready, my bad! I just did a quick google search and it was mentioning 3D Ready. Price online at my local Sony Centre for this TV is £1099.99.

This set, the NX703 is NOT 3D ready, but it should be 100hz

I should also say, be very careful with Sony and their Edge Lit LED TV's, unless they have a Samsung panel, they can be problematic and you may find the lighting is very uneven across the screen. Many people prefer their CCFL screens.

I think it says +£258 for the 5yr warranty

This has been posted before - not got the time to dig it out but it's been this price for weeks. In fact it was at £699 on Boxing Day only.

BAH hadn`t realised its instore only ah well saves me the expence

Anyone who has this able to tell me how reflective the screen is?
I would like to put it in a large open room.

TIA

I wish people would stop posting these Essex-only TV deals.

I would buy this or the 40" version at the drop of a hat, but it's not realistic for the vast majority of forum users to drive to either of the only two stores in the entire country offering these sets + Sony warranty at these prices.

Essex is one of the most populated counties in the country. In addition these stores are the 'London side' of Essex, so its easily accessible by those in the east side of Greater London too.

There's been far worse local deals on here - cheap fish and chips in just one fish shop! A TV thats £000s cheaper is worth a drive, fish and chips isn't!

Price gone up to £849.00 now.
