I may be wrong but thought that the new Sony's did, the only other difference is the 800 mhz processor over the 1000 mhz which is in the one posted.

I tried to buy the 55 earlier and by the time id pulled the trigger some **** head had bought it!

I asked JL last week if they would price match this tv with Tesco as JL were a £100 more and they said yes. Also anyone who is registered with Richer Sounds for their VIP emails will also have had an email last week offering the tv at £599.00 with 5 or is it 6 year guarantee. Only £40 more. It's about time all tv's had more than 12 months warranty, if only uk sellers acted within EU law then we would have 24 months as standard. A government with some backbone would have sorted this for us because if you live anywhere else in Europe the same manufacturer, producing the same model with give you 2 years and not 1 years warranty.

You will find that if you fight your corner with Currys etc and quote under EU law that you are entitled to two years warranty. The retailers get around it because it wasn't backed up under UK consumer law but you can still exercise your rights under European law until such time as this government takes us out of the EU.
