Special Price Offer on this product must finish on 04/01/2015.
FREE 5 Year TV Guarantee on Instore Purchase only

A couple of questions:-
1) Do John Lewis price match RGB?
2) If so, do JL include the additional items in their price match?

JL price matched these guys for me last year, but they didn't on my first attempt.

I've just submitted a JL Price match request.

I got recent deal from Curry's for £739 plus free soundbar which I sold for £85, plus £50 off £500 on o2 priority code which meant TV cost around £600. Cracking TV by the way.

Deano, nice deal.

Just on the sound bar, did you feel the sound was good enough without it? (Or did you have your own sound bar?)

Cheers

John Lewis price matched me the other day with these guys, but the price had jumped from 675 to 699 overnight so only got offered at the higher cost.

Based on that you might need to act quick!

Oh yeah, they didn't include the additional items.

I ended up with a Samsung £200 cheaper in the end, couldn't justify cost to the better half.

Hell of a set man.

Thanks.

I keep wondering about the 48 inch 6400 or the 47 inch LG 730 - both are over £100 cheaper. I'm mulling over eiher one of those or going for this.

Which Samsung did you get in the end?

After researching for ages, going round in circles and constantly increase my budget to "the next model" I eventually said I didn't want to spend more than £500 so went for the UE48H6200 at £459.99 from Co-Op (£449.99 ish after cash back). It really is a great set for the money. Some say the 6400 screen is better but who knows, screens are a bit of pot luck, particularly with Samsung. You also get the fancy remote and 2x3D glasses with the 6400.

Anyway, if I had the extra cash I would have went for the Sony 50W829. If John Lewis had come back in time at £675 before I saw sense and pulled my budget back I might have had one!

Whichever one you buy, don't expect miracles and be happy with your purchase :-)

Roscoe, I have a Sony AV stand with built in speakers which I found on hukd 4 or 5 years ago, another bargain reduced from £600 to £160! The sound on TV is OK,... slightly worse than the 50 inch plasma it replaced tbh.

i would wait for this to come back in stock. there isn't much difference in quality between these two tvs from what I can tell, let alone over £100 worth of difference

JL have confirmed they will price match......hmmmm do I go ahead!

Nice one, I would go for it at £675.

This tv is still £675 on RGB and JL have price matched for me, this is a little hit and miss and u may need to send the request more than once. I purchased mine when it had the free subwoofer and at £739 so I'm over the moon. Great tv.
