I've been keeping an eye on the Sony KDL65W855CBU 65" Smart 3D TV for a while now and it came down by £100 over the course of the weekend. Add in the GET40 code and it's yours for £859 - the cheapest it's ever been. Worth throwing in Quidco too. If 4K/UHD isn't your think then this represents great value IMHO.

Fantastic bargain. I paid £530 for my 65" without those specs Great value for 3D. The best for movies when you can't get to the cinema

1080p on a 65"? wouldn't that look a bit stretched?

i have a kdl60w855 60 inches version, bought last year from ao.com for £899.
this tv is a gem

There's no way to stack codes is there, as there is TV20 & GET40 that are both applicable. I'm after a Panasonic TX-40DX700B myself

^ & the numpty comment award for this deal goes to....

Yet most cinema's up until circa 2010 delivered the picture in 2k (1080p) how stretched and pixelated the 1080 looked, it felt like I was watching 8-bit Mario.

holly crap. .........must add more heat.

Isn't that why we go to cinemas... To watch squares fight each other?

might not have phrased it right but that doesn't give you a reason to call me a numpty you slob

3D is on a path to nowhere and won't be around at all soon enough. All the major broadcasters have basically said it won't be getting any air time.

Cold from me this.

I have 3D on my BenQ projector, it's not even full HD but is fantastic on Blu Ray with an image size about 110 inches by 80 inches.

Paid about £260 and projects straight onto my wall.

Fantastic

Also got a 55 inch tv for normal viewing. (£540)

great product for the cash.

Is this worth paying £160 more than the 65" hisense that was just under £700 a couple of days ago? I know that deal isn't live now but it'll come again.

Anyone know the length of warranty

You are now a much better informed numpty and for what it's worth I think he looked past how poorly phrased the question was and answered you anyway. I'm sure a thank you wouldn't go amiss
