Wireless Bluetooth allows you to enjoy your music without the hassle of cables

The MDR-1000X features Bluetooth technology, allowing you to enjoy your favourite music wirelessly. Without the hassle of cables and wires, you can move around freely. An Ambient sound mode and intuitive touch sensor controls mean that you can control everything without removing the headphones, controlling your music and the volume with ease.

A built-in microphone enables you to answer calls on the move without removing the headphones. You can also create a wired connection when necessary using the included 1.5 m cable.

Noise cancelling performance keeps you immersed without distractions

With both noise-cancelling and passive noise isolating technology, the MDR1000X ensure that you remain immersed in your music at all times. High-Resolution Audio files are supported for a distinctive and impressive listening experience, while other music files are upscaled to near High-Resolution Audio quality.

The headphones offer up to 22 hours of battery life and can easily be recharged using the included USB charge cable.

Protective carry case keeps your headphones safe

To keep the MDR-1000X safe when not in use, you can use the included protective carry case to transport them securely. Taking advantage of the headphones' fold-flat earcups, the carry case offers a compact and secure means of protecting your headphones.

Only small hairline cracks sometimes, but they are on the joining of the headphones cup and the band - which sometimes damages the noise cancelling!!

Just some serial numbers affected

These will drop more in price. So hold off if you can.

Hot. Better than Bose QC35.

I bought the new version of these, but at a higher price (£286).

yes it's been out for a bit now just bought the new m2 version yesterday here in Hong Kong, cheaper than the UK from a Sony store here who also provided me with international warranty. The sound is amazining, l tested this against the Bose qc35 in Dixons duty free and these just blow them out of the water.
