Thanks, sent back the ones I bought other day for £107. May as well use Amazon's returns policy to the fullest.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to do that. You can contact customer service and they'll refund you the difference

I'm just going to stick the returns form on the brand new one in box and drop it off at post office. That way I'm not sending something used back and somebody else can get a bargain!

Also I've started wearing these in which takes time as well.

How's the sound cancellation on this? Also, how much audio leaks out?

Not great. These are semi-open. Audio leaks a small amount too. Definitely for home use. Great warm sound with a lot of colour, buy these if you want a fun pair of cans, I love them.

From the article you sent
"Update 5/5/2016: According to recent feedback from readers, it appears that Amazon has changed its policy on offering price-change refunds on all items other than TVs. So, if you see a price change on TVs, you should be able to get the difference."

Thanks buddy. I travel a lot on train and don't want sound leak so I'll give these a pass.

I've seen reviews that say it can be bad with this type of travelling but they just turn the volume up and it's fine, look for powered noise cancelling headphones. Bose quiet comfort are designed for this I just hate Bose with a passion.

Ive had these for 3 years now, they have been chucked around, sat on, stepped on, and they still look and work good as new. Great cans.

What's wrong with Bose?

I'm looking for some new decent headphones and my friends swear by Bose, but I personally don't know that much about headphones

I haven't really looked into powered noise cancelling headphones and currently just use earphones but I'll definitely have a look.

Yeah, they are definitely closed back, you can tell from the pictures as well, there are no holes that make it open back.

most of their products are overpriced and there are better alternatives hense the term Better of Somewhere Else

But i have to say i own 3 bose items (all headphones)

QC20s
QC35s in Black
QC35 II in silver

I only own them because they all have active powered noise cancellation.

The QC35s
my dog chewed the headband on the QC35s and i dropped them. Sent them back to bose for repair and they sent me a brand new pair of headphones FOC which I thought was great. Apple mentality if you like.

The battery life is awesome and the noise cancellation is best in class. Sound quality is good but not the best.
Build is pretty good, they're very light but again not the best.

I have those sony headphones which i got for free with my z2 smart phone, yes that long ago. not really worth it IMO.
Sound leakage, cheap build but very light, but the sound is decent.

Oh OK thank you, I was actually looking at the QC35s earlier; I thought they looked really good but way out of my price range

I don't suppose you'd have a recommendation for someone whose budget is ~£100? preferably wired

I hate Bose as well. but I love my QC35s
