Enjoy the subtlest nuances of studio-quality sound with High-Resolution Audio. Passion for music unites every component from signal to speaker, while advanced technologies such as digital upscaling help create the ultimate listening experience.
Hear sound that stays true to the original recording, no matter how high the volume is turned up. A powerful 40mm driver, with an aluminium-coated Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragm, handles the heaviest beats with the utmost precision.
DSEE upscales compressed digital music (MP3, ACC, ATRAC, and WMA). It restores the highs and lows lost in compression, producing rich sound closer to CD quality.
Developed by Sony, the Bluetooth LDAC codec takes your music streaming to a new level. It supports up to three times greater bitrate than typical Bluetooth streaming, 96kHz sampling rates and more efficient coding for CD-quality wireless sound.
Touch - Tap - Swipe - Simply touch the earpads to stop or play tracks, swipe left and right for previous and next track, trace and stop for scanning, or swipe up and down to adjust volume.

Cool. I'm guessing the MDR-1ABT sound better right?
Also ordered. Used my huge £12 credit for dodgy Fire charger too. Reviews look good and needed something like this anyway.
Very good deal, op. Got the HDR-1A's (no BT) off Amazon warehouse last year for £85 and all I can say is 'wow'. Came brand new so bit of a bargain. Anyway, terrific pair of headphones so expect these to be brilliant too.
thanks op ordered!!
After the cable on my B&O H2s went this week and I had to do a little modding to get a new one to fit, I decided I need BT cans next. Didn't plan on getting some quite so soon, but this was too good a deal to pass up.

I notice they're back to £240 now though.
They're no longer available. I really should have just bought them when it showed up this morning

Pretty close these ones have Hi-res whereas that's been sacrificed for the price point the NC ones are at. Still pretty close.

Nice tip mate - going to have to charge overnight as my flight is at 9am...
managed to bag a set before they went earlier and they should be delivered this evening too
hope they live up to the good reviews

heat added thanks
Good headphones. Got them in the january lightening deals for £180.
The touch controls are a bit hit and miss, and the first charge was no where near the hours they stated of playback, but I'm sure that will get better with a few charges.
Very comfortable, just need to upgrade to a sony z5 phone to make the most of the Hi-res audio, the sony codec doesn't apparently upscale from all audio devices

Yes you are. You can't use bluetooth during the usual stages, but in flight is not a problem whatsoever.
I own the MDR 1AS and they're fantastic - so get these!

Ok, so i had these on my head for the entire 14 hour flight. Brilliant, brilliant headphones. Now i need to sell my B&W P5s
