I have a long list of headphones on my watch list ready to add to my growing collection, this is one off that list. Lowest price elsewhere that I can find is £109.99 from Currys. Normal retail value is £114.99 - 120.00.

These are available for Prime delivery and you can have the black version for £103.49 if Silver doesn't tickle your fancy. Very popular and has a whole host of positive reviews.

Not much of a saving?

Good price, heat added. I purchased these for £109.99 last week and using it now listening to music as I'm typing this comment. Not impressed by them. My first headphones that i spent over £30 on and probably will never buy expensive headphones again. The XD150 are almost as good as these. The MDR-1AS in comparison give out slightly better sound quality and are a lot more uncomfortable. I'm probably in the minority here, like always.

Edit - I now own the MDR-1R and i retract my comment. They are amazing headphones, warm sound, good bass (not overpowering), very comfortable, its literally perfect in every way possible. I was definitely being too picky with the MDR-1AS and i would not hesitate buying them again if the price is below £100.

Send then back as they are not adequate.

Got these for this price from Dixons Travel last year.
They are actually very good when you put a decent source and material into them. Use them strictly as portable phones into a Sony NWZ A15. Don't use them as a desktop or PC set but great as a set for on the move.I actually find them very comfortable unlike the poster above.
