These are very bass heavy headphones, not much in the way of midrange or treble, I'd go for the next model up:

hotukdeals.com/ite…it/

These are excellent - best headhones I have tried, bass is perfect with my MP3 player.
I can wear them for a very very long time without ear fatigue (sore ears from ill fitting plugs!).
Had them for over a year now - think I should buy a second pair as a backup incase I lose them...

Once you compare these to a decent set you'll see how limited these are, there's lots of bass but its sluggish, mids and highs are really poor.

I've had these twice now, and although they sound good I have had two problems with them

1) My first pair had an issue with the cable becoming loose in one of the buds so stopped them working.
2) The white colour gets very dirty, very quickly

But still as budget 'phones go you can't go wrong (although I have decided to get the other ones that were posted, Sony MDR-EX85)

Voted HOT!

I hope these are better than when I last owned them (2.5yrs ago) - the plastic coating on the wire across the neck was like plasticine and would fall apart within 2-3mths use. Sent them back (Amazon) twice before I got sick of them and got a refund.

Got a pair of these. Used them twice. Rubbish sound - boomy bass and not much else. £30 wasted. Even a tenner is too much. Worst is the length of the cable. The default is way too short and the extension makes it way too long.

Stick to the Sennheiser CX300 or the Creative EP-630. Both are miles better.

get the Sennheiser CX300 as they have better bass, treble and superior mid range.

i bought these for about £20 around 10 months ago
and though they sounded quite good

one of the buds stopped working after about a week in which i had only used them 3 or 4 times

Check that the bud still has a tiny little hole in the middle (sound port).
Compare it against the other.

If it isn't visible, you'll need to unblock it.
And, no points for guessing what's causing it to be blocked!!
Euwwwww!!

This is a common problem with inner-ear 'bud' style headphones.
