Seems like a great price for these, £45 @ Amazon.

Manufacturer Refurb, but from a trusted seller. I've bought from argos @ eBay before with no problems.

And because the link wont work, here is the item number:

330614264943

Hope this helps.

Fairly favourable reviews at both of these places, too!

Do these work or do you keep getting dropouts? I would expect them to be heavy on batteries? Do they sound just the same or as good as wired headphones? Can anyone say whether my considerations are valid or not?

Not sure re Argos. Just bought a tv that was meant to be new and i have been sent a different model (downgrade) and it is ex-display. Just waiting for them to resolove it now but it sounds likely positive outcome.

Mum uses these 'cos she's a little deaf. Range is long with no dropouts caused by my router, etc..

Sound is not as good as wired, but more than adequate - that's the same with most wireless headphones and she's has them set loud!

Biggest complaint: They come with rechargeable batteries that charge from the transmitter, BUT when putting other brands in the recharge cycle will not activate - once the rechargeable batteries die, I've not found a way to find replacements (they are AAA and also have a funny square plastic mount on them). You can obviously use normal rechargeable batteries, but you can't recharge them while in the headphones.

This is a good price for these - I've bought 4 pairs in the past

REFURBISHED !
Very important to highlight as at some stage these would have had some issues.

Does that really matter with a 12 month warranty honored by Argos?

If you have a small head dont buy these - I have a reasonably big head (of course!) but they are still too big.

Mine recharge other batteries fine I've got Vapex in them now and they charge without a problem.

expired was contemplating getting a pair as well. uuuggghhhh.

I have these and they're pretty good. £20 is still the most I'd pay though.

Not surprised these Sony sensations sold out so soon.

Same...

Something to remember with these headphones, you have to keep the volume on the tv above a certain limit(and then adjust your required volume via headset), or else the signal will cut out every five minutes. Other than that, very handy things.

Ew used headphones no ty..

Ive got the cheapo wireless ones that play.com have sold before now. There good enough for movies but there is crackle, noise, and ive even had interferece (someone elses tv or movie come throught them once) I bet these sony's are far better.

I'm just buying my second pair, had the others 3 years. Brilliant.
