same here i got mine for £19.99 from hmv via hukd 2 years ago the sound is amazing & very comfy.

What is it with people wanting to artificially increase the bass when they're listening to a song? It's like buying a painting and put it in a frame that makes all the colours more blue.

These people don't even deserve ears let alone decent headphones.

Well you don't deserve a device that allows you to post such stupid comments.
There are so many variations and sub genres of music which make your comparison to adding blue to a painting simple minded, at best.
I like bass because in my mind it gives more life to a song because I can feel it. I'm sure I could think of a million reasons why whatever music you listen to is trash, if I was a judgemental d*** like you.

Might ask for these for xmas

That's a little harsh - almost all headphones will be coloured to some degree, people who love rock will be likely best served by a pair of Grados for example. If others prefer dance or hip-hop they may prefer a headphone that favours bass.

Then again, if anyone listens to high end reference headphones through an appropriate amp they will likely be blown away regardless. Unfortunately not everyone can afford such a setup, and may appreciate getting a good deal on some headphones that will suit the type of music they listen to.

I like lots of different music which is why I don't want all of it to sound like a man trying to break into a submerged submarine with a sledgehammer but I do agree with you that if all the music I listened to consisted of a drum machine thumping relentlessly away for 5 minutes, it would be a terrible waste to buy a pair of headphones that did anything else. I could always simply buy some new headphones if my tastes were to broaden at all one day in the future.

i had an older model in the range and it needed burn in time so please remember that when you first get them. The sound quality was really good for the price. If the sound is the same then the bass isn't too bad. It's high but the balance of the treble and mids are giod

Just been to the Milton Keynes Sainsbury around an hour ago and couldn't find this headphone. Ask the staff and she said if it is not on the shelf, then it is most probably already sold out...

Has anyone other than the poster actually found a pair of these. Without other finds seems like a waste of a lunchbreak to come back empty handed.

There were 2 pairs in Chelmsford Sainsburys a week back. Definitely **** stores only though

I got some, they went on sale about 2 weeks ago. they had two in the day before (almost got one with double points), The once the double points was over (next day, very sneaky) the price was dropped to 17.99. I got the last one. It was about the 26th Of Nov.
