Some truly amazing headphones with a bargain price attached to them at Argos. These sets have a high build quality and they are very comfortable to wear, but most importantly, they are packed with features such as Bluetooth (including NFC and aptX), built-in mic for hands-free call, and active noise-cancelling functionality with rechargeable battery powering these sets.

These could be misprice, or a different product based on the pictures from Argos, however both the title and description are for the Sony MDR-ZX770BN, so it's worth reserving and collecting to see how these would turn out.

For the record, to my knowledge, these headphones have never been below £89, I'd make myself a guinea pig and buy one first had I not already owned around a dozen quality headphone sets, so posting this is a measure of self control to me.

Oh and my first ever HUKD deal, so please feel free to be as harsh as possible.

Edit: Same price on eBay (@ Argos outlet). Thanks to the_bargain_hunter for pointing this out...

Oooooer.
Note to others :- never admit to losing your virginity. there are people on here that get jealous and crucify you
I had this for 1 day and sent them back as the sound just wasn't right for me. I like a lot of bass so got the Sony MDR-XB950BT for £70. But for these headphones the price is good considering I paid around £70 refurbished.

Both purchased on Amazon

I also have the XB950BT (got it from that same £70 deal), and let's be real, their sound is quite 'artificial' compared to these headphones. That doesn't mean they are bad, but it's important to realise that some may prefer the more natural sound of these headphones.

Plus. the active NC functionality is a great bonus here, as it allows you to enjoy music at a lower volume since it muffles the outside sounds pretty good.
great spot
Thank you OP.
Thanks. Was looking for some for the gym. Are the air pads/muffs like rubber or foam that would soak the sweat up as I don't want that
Awesome!
it says Bluetooth but all the pics have wires on them oO

The pictures are not the MDR-ZX770BN.
Hot if it is actually the MDR-ZX770BN.
moneybanks14

Pulled from where? They're still on the website.
pics are MDR-ZX770AP which seems to be a wired version with little online presence
gone for it - thanks OP.

I think he was referring to his own comment!
I'll have a pair if genuine but the Sony web site images and the Argos ones are completely different.
anyone tried to get amazon to pricematch?
Ordered on FastTrack I'll just return them if they're not Bluetooth as described.
Thanks OP.
i dont think they sell the AP version in the UK though.

You can use them with a 3.5mm cord as well.
They are good for this money much more reasonable than what they had been, might have gone for them but bought some Sol Republic Shadows for £60 last week
There's a code AUDIO10 for 10% off headphones and audio when you spend £99 or more.
2 pairs comes up as £99.98, and it says code applied successfully but it doesn't give the discount.
Thought it was worth sharing in case anyone was buying a couple of pairs.
The code was in a newspaper supplement yesterday..

Thanks so much. I reserved this but then decided to pay on Fast track, just in case Argos f*cked the price up and bump the price back up since these are selling for around £90+ on Curry, John Lewis, ect. If this isn't the bluetooth version then I just ask for a refund. While the picture is confusing since these are supposed to be Bluetooth, but with this headphones, it can be bluetooth or wired so fingers cross, this is the right product, as it's a awesome price. Will let you know how it goes tommorrow, picking these up in the morning.
Going to take a punt at this price, can never have too many cans.
code didnt work but cheers
Ordered. Will stick them away as a Christmas pressie. Thanks
Got these headphones, they're pretty good. I'm quite impressed with them. Build quality is good though. A steal at £50. I found the cups were a bit uncomfortable so I bought some velour earcups from Brainwavz which helped a massive amount.

Also I initially bought them to help with airplane noise and it did definitely help cancel out the noise a lot compared to my partner's Audio Technica M50s. Rather pleased.

Great find. Hope it's the wireless ones!
Is it best to buy or to reserve if it is a misprice, or does it make no odds?
