Great combination of Over ear design, and noise cancellation at an excellent price from a reputed brand.

  • Digital noise cancelling headphones with Sony's DNC software engine

  • Comfortable and deep bass sound with around ear style, A stainless steel slider allows you to find the perfect fit

  • 13 hours of continuous playback with Bluetooth and Noise cancelling activated

  • Works also as passive headphones in case of battery runs out

  • One-touch NFC connection, stream your favourite tracks via Bluetooth

  • Can only be charged by connecting to computer or laptop.

Oh damn I want these! Heat
Just got these in JL in clearance. Seems to need to charge via a PC. May work with some wall chargers...google

Mine charge at the wall, lovely headphones

Just tried wall chargers. Works with older slower samsung charger but not quick charge new samsung. If that helps. Good phones but not 100% NC as you might expect. Decent sound though and quite comfortable.
Got these at argos before Christmas £79.99, they charge via the usual usb method from the mains , via a mains to usb adaptor, simples...like charging a phone or tablet et
For those that already have them......how comfortable are these? I am looking for a new set of ‘over ear’ headphones, but want to make sure they are comfortable enough to watch a full lengthmovie on a tablet.
Have owned these for over 8 months and I can vouch for them. Great price of kit with some very good bass. NC can be a bit of hit and miss and cannot be compared with Bose but overall they are great
grabbed the XM2's today, tried instore at JL- brilliant
I've had these a year..Sounds amazing... Comfortable, battery last as long as it claims, will charge from any USB power source I used and buttons are conveniently positioned. NC however, is not the best..Quite weak but just adequate to block a bit of airplane engine noise when plane is cruising... Not when it's taking off.

This was the price I paid then. I don't think it's that special a price.

Prices gone up a lot for electronics in the past year, PC components in particular, but everything really since the pound fell down.
79 euro on Amazon italy. (so cheaper than UK)
I tried these in the shop. If you particularly invested in the noise-cancelling element you should do that first, because imho it wasn't great.
I had these, just returned them. The battery life is awful on them and they were a little flaky on connection compared to the new ones I have (not sony)
Noise cancelling is absolute trash on these. A total gimmick. I paid £40 something from Amazon Warehouse in that 20% off offer.

If you have an issue charging via a wall plug, try hitting the reset button. My one seemed to fully charge in 5 mins and then run out of battery in 5 mins too via a wall plug. Turns out sometimes the headphone goes nuts and a reset resolves it. Now I can charge via wall plug.
£45.11 I paid. Just checked. And they were as new.

Hmm I'm after some decent headphones, I find it really difficult sleeping on flights. Bit put off by comments on here though.

Consider Damson Headspace. £130 at Amazon but currently only £94.49 direct from Damson. Reviews...

Hope you got them price matched to 299 as Sony direct have them at that price. If not go back and claim the £30 back.

These are very comfortable, nice and light and barely notice them on. Excellent for extended listening and very impressive sound and nice bass. I had pair of 1000mx2 previously and Bose qc35 but couldn't justify the cost to keep them so sold them and got these and very happy. These are marginally less comfortable than the Bose (which are the most comfortable headphones I've ever used) the Sony's were too bulky, got hot and hurt my ears after a short period but sounded excellent.
These headphones are a great mix between the two in my opinion and for a fraction of the price. Noise cancellation isn't as good as the others but I expected that as the others are excellent in that regard, but I didn't need that feature anyway. I have no regrets in choosing these. Hope that helps

Don't be put off by negative comments. If you look at any brand headphone including high end like Bose, there will be some % of people who are not happy about it. However look at % of people who are happy about it. For this model of 534 reviews
roughly in total only 134 have rated it as 2 or 1 star. So over 75% have rated it 4 or 5 star.
Ultimately you will have to take a call based on features that matters to you most and what you are willing to spend ....
