Does this only work if you have a Sony CD player in your car?

Errr. No.

Why would that be?

Ignore this :-)

How come in the title is says approx £91.00 delivered and then above the go to deal button it says £98.55. I didn't think you were meant to put the price with Quidco taken off as Quidco is not guaranteed.

But even so it is still a good price.

Just a mo while I find the link.....brb

Can't find it. But I only put it down over there a minute ago.

Littlewoods AND Sony ?!!!

here we go again !!!

just had a look at reviews, as feared, typical Sony lack of up to date firmware / maps , make this next to useless IMO.

something like a sat nav, u want to have the most popular models, as those are the ones that get supported propery by the manufacturers.....

small market sellers like the Sony, are disposable sat navs..............

Oh well, its a **** satnav anyway. they're hard to use and have lack of updates. go for a garmin or a tomtom

Sony - when will they ever learn ??

Sony to withdraw from European sat nav market
Sony has effectively withdrawn from the European sat nav market by announcing that it will not release any new models and will discontinue existing devices in 2008.

An announcement made to Pocket-Lint revealed the plan and a decision that was clearly made because of Sony's failure to dent the strangehold in Europe enjoyed by TomTom and Garmin.

"Sony has a certain level of success in Europe, however we have considered various aspects such as position in industry, competitiveness of current product line-up and prospective PND business for next few years in Europe," said the statement

"The decision was made based on the difficulty to operate this business within its current structure by taking into account the increase in development cost, accelerating price competition and especially business profitability."

Don't buy it!!!

Had this from Halfords a few months back, and it never worked properly, ended up getting a replacement which was also faulty. Read lots of bad reviews since of many more unhappy customers! Save yourself the bother - getting lost in the first place would be more convenient than this useless object

this is still showing as instock. Why expired?

Because someone didn't like it.

Bought. If it is faulty it will go back for a refund, and with TMC and a big screen and the ability to update it is still better value than a cheap Tom Tom One that cannot be updated.

Seems to be the way with this place sometime.

Thanks withabix! Voted Hot and adding Rep now

Mine was delivered today. Fab service from Littlewoods. As a first time user, very pleased.

Just updated the firmware, very straightforward. Safety cameras next.

Bit disappointed that it seems TMC is an extra 20 quid for the lifetime subs.

Overall was a bargain, off out for a drive tommorrow so see how it performs
