Sony NWA806 4GB Walkman Video MP3 Player - Black reduced from £129.99 down to £64.99 at Argos. I bought one of these when they were doing a wifi speaker offer, and have been very impressed with it!

I have one of these as well and the quality of the headphones that are included with it is amazing and really makes this deal even better as there equivalent to a decent £20 set. The video playback is also the best i've seen on any MP3/MP4 player its not a very big screen but ideal for watching the Simpsons (in Stereo) on the bus/train.
Im tempted to buy another one! I have no idea why its getting voted cold for a 4GB quality MP3 and Video player?

Does this model require the sonicstage for transferring music..
Does it support *.asf files?

this one is not as good as the new model which is simply drag and drop, this one uses the more complicated sonic stage, try amazon and dixons for the new version, only £10 more and a lot less hassle

new model number is NWZ. this one is NWA

Using the latest version of Sonic Stage is just as quick as dragging and dropping, and I hated Sonic Stage's earlier versions

Could you point me in the right direction of where this is available for £10 more please?

Not if you want to copy stuff from computers that don’t have it installed. I like the flexibility of using drag and drop as it doesn’t tie you to Windows either; I doubt Sonic Stage runs under Linux. :w00t:
