Better than the 4GB version from Play.com posted earlier , as this one has 8GB for only £20 more! With only 4GB you are bound to run out of memory after only a few albums and one or two videos. At least with 8GB you stand a chance of not having to delete and load your music and videos on a regular basis!

This was £116 yesterday, but has just dropped an additional £16.

On their own, the NWZA828 MP3 player (albeit with wireless headphones) is £111. Then the Sony Bluetooth speaker is £75. So this package represents an £86 saving. Result! I have just ordered one. OK, so I will probably have to spend on some bluetooth hadphones at some point, but they are much cheaper than the speakers.

The bluetooth wont have any affect on the music as its just the data transfer method. Why MP3's tend to sound worse on large speakers is down to the compression on converting the MP3. So I would almost guarantee they will sound worse then the headphones. I suggest you convert your MP3's at a minimum of 192kbps rather than the more standard 128kbps.

id get the 16gb sony on amazon for 78 then buy some probably equally feeble speakers for the extra 20 quid....

The 16GB model just mentioned is NOT the NWZ-A series, it's the smaller S series WITHOUT bluetooth, and also a smaller 2.0" screen.

I'm not saying it's not a great deal though, I have the previous model to it with 8gb, and it's brilliant. Better than any fruitpod player.

I'm looking at the getting the model with the larger 2.4" screen as I do use it for video quite a lot., and I especially want Bluetooth so I can stick the speakers up on a shelf in kitchen without having to plug the mp3 player in.

£78 for a 16gb model is smokin' hot though!

I have a Sony player its quality is good however there is no 3rd aprt accessories available. Actually, even Sony does not do enough accesores for their player. You can find many Sony hi-fi which support Ipod but stupidly they do not support their own player
