Sony Official Dualshock 3 Six Axis Controller (PS3) £23.94 inc postage

The DualShock 3 wireless controller for the PlayStation 3 system provides the most intuitive game play experience with pressure sensitive buttons and the inclusion of the highly sensitive Sixaxis motion sensing technology. Each hit, crash and explosion is more realistic when the user feels the rumble right in the palm of their hand. It can even detect natural movements for real-time and high precision interactive play, acting as a natural extension of the user's body. The DualShock 3 wireless controller utilises Bluetooth technology for wireless gameplay and the controller's USB cable to seamlessly and automatically charge the controller through the hardware.

good deal

Just ordered one

much cheapness

£17.99 + postage at ]101CD.com & ]BlahDVD.com.

(Cannot tell you how much the postage is at either of these two e-tailers without creating an account)

Add as mentioned above, £17.95 + postage at ]DVD.co.uk.

However, I did noticed that the 101CD, BlahDVD & DVD.co.uk sites were all very similar in design/layout.

I added a DUALSHOCK 3 controller to each of the 101CD & BlahDVD baskets before finding I couldn't progress to see the postage charge without creating an account.

I then added 3 controllers via the DVD.co.uk site (where I am a previous customer).

Upon clicking through to the checkout I found 5 in my basket.

So all three sites must be the same organisation!

The postage for all 5 controllers was £29.95! (Ouch!).

Removing 4, to leave just one in my basket then showed that postage was £5.99, bringing the combined total to £23.94 (as mentioned in the deal title).

Still, interesting that all three sites are the same.

Much like TheHut.com & Asda-Entertainment.com being the same too.

BFN,

fp.

I paid a premium for the white version

still a hot deal with the silly postage cost. over £30 on most sites.

Ordered and heat added, cheers

i'm convinced i saw a shelf label for a DS3 in my local tesco at £19.94. None on the shelf, but if someone can verify it would beat this price comfortably.

they are also now £25 in store at game

I would buy this if it were silver. I already have a black and ceramic white.

Heat added though.

Cheers. H&R added.

Absolute perfect timing, my DS3 just broke (spilt beer).

why not just click on the "What's this?" link next to the item price - it tells you the P&P is £5.99

If you bought one of the 'Sony Official Dualshock 3 Six Axis Controller (PS3)' shown in the example on the left you will only pay
One times £17.95 for the 'Sony Official Dualshock 3 Six Axis Controller (PS3)'
Initial postage of £5.99
Total cost of order £23.94

Does anyone know if this can be used on the pc for gaming/emulation gaming? Specifically if it can utilize both the usb and bluetooth technologies on the pc?

Yes, I know the total price I mentioned it in my comment above.

The "What's this?" link didn't load at the time of looking. I've just checked again now & it is back to 'normal'. Thanks for the advice though.

BFN,

(I also paid over the odds for a "Stormtrooper" Black'n'White version from eBay in January, and I hardly use the 'rumble' vibration function. I may turn it on with every new title I play to see the effect, but after a while it gets disabled again. Battery life can be greatly improved if you do switch it off too!)

Just 'Google' for "SIXAXIS on PC" & interchange "DUALSHOCK 3" for "SIXAXIS" when reading.

Also, an incoming PSP firmware release (to co-incided with the new PSP [3000] model; the "Slim & Brite") is rumoured to support use of the PS3 controllers when using the "RemotePlay" function on the handheld console!
