If I didnt have a projector and 3d tv already would have a look at getting a pair.

Weren't these the future about 20 years ago?

this with the fundawear = future.

I'm gonna wait for Oculus Rift.

Had the mk1 and its nice but really doesn't do what it says on the tin. Too much light gets in and it gets uncomfortable to wear.

I remember sony bringing these out and aiming them at gaming back when the first playstation was a hit. These are obviously modernised since then but still not something that was a big hit then. Altho hybrid/electric cars weren't a hit when they came out but now we're considering them so i guess this is similar in that sense.

I had the mk1 too. Its incredible when you get comfy with it. really feels like your in the middle of an imax cinema...

How does this actually work
Can you use it with any HDTV or does it have to be a 3D TV? so when you wear these you are viewing your source ie PS3 through OLED 3D glasses is this correct ?

i want one

You plug the hdmi from (for example) your ps3 into a separate box. That's connected by a thick wire to the glasses. I ran mine through my amp which has two outputs. One would go to the glasses, the other to my tv.

Can you hook this up to a radio controlled Quadcopter with a 3D camera & live feed ?

If you can link it up to say a tv (HDMI) cant see why not. The separate converter box looks to accept the input from any appropriate source.

Sorry, the ones I bought were the first gen T1, and these are the second gen versions.

These are the TV and you plug them into a hdmi processing box where you connect the ps3 or blu ray or pc and just wear them on your head. The 3d is provided b the TWO screens in each eye therefore the crosstalk is removed.

Looks like they sold out as cant find on the site anymore.

They are still in stock for me 2% quidco too

Isn't it a bit of a con to market these as "Full HD" when they are only 720p?
