I am really interested to know whether people think this is a good deal or not, it seems like a great price to me and I'm thinking of buying it but wanted some feedback first.

I was at my local Gamestation today and they were taking 159.99 for a used PS3 40gb which I thought was quite a good price anyway, but in adition there is an offer to get a selected chart game for free with the purchase of any used Ps3 console.

The games were Fifa 10, Call of Duty, Marval Alliance 2 (can't remember the 4th)- all games that would cost around .£40 alone. Even if you didn't want the game you could get around £25 trade in at Cex for any of those games.

So do people think this is a deal worth getting?

Sorry I think I've put the wrong game name there - I can't remember what the 4th game was.

That makes the Amazon price compared to this £37 extra per game! That's no special price IMO, I normally get games second hand for £20-30.

It's £159.99 nationwide, it's just whether or not they've updated their displays. Great deal, IMO. Although it's what it should be really.

I said this on another thread, but in cash converters in Glasgow (Renfield Street) they had a sign in the window selling pre-owned 40gb ps3s for £129
