I thought you could do this anyway over built in BT? Certainly via a USB cable.
I guess an official adapter will make this easier somehow...?
Relatively bulky and expensive, any benefits over a regular Bluetooth connection?
For some reason I couldn't connect my ps4 controllers to PC through Bluetooth so ended up having to use Xbox 1 through a wire
Any idea how I can extend my bluetooth coverage for another 15m? I've got HDMI splitter in one room and want to keep my PS4 where it is....

Can I use this with like a 15m USB cable?
They're excellent, works perfectly on Steam!

The dongle exposes the headphone socket on the controller as a Windows Audio device allowing you to route audio to the jack which I am told a regular BT connection doesn't. This is the only difference as far as I can tell.

If you're using remote play on PC, you have to have this for wireless play as you can't use a regular Bluetooth connection. Otherwise, it's cabled.

Sounds like garbage from reviews I read. Supports just 1 controller and only really needed for PSNow or Remote Play.

I used a usb 2 cat5 extender.

You could couple this with a Titan One / Chronus Max etc and a bluetooth dongle to make this also wireless anywhere you like, costs a little more though

Is remote play any good? What's peoples experiences been on both PC and Mac? Good for just the PS Plus games or does it work for multiplayer games like Fifa where lack of lag is essential.
last time i checked this was a deal site not a reviews site!

Works for all sorts of games. But bear in mind you will need to have a good internet connection on both ends. I was able to play from Australia on my PS4 in London when I was on my honeymoon. The lag was noticeable but not massive. On the other hand, I barely noticed the lag playing from my parents' home in Spain. It works pretty well as long as you have good internet connection, preferably fiber.

Have ordered one of these anyway as an option but will give this a try. Have an XBox One S controller for remote playback to my Xbox so this would be very useful. Thanka for the heads up.

Any time dude. good luck!
This looks good. I would buy this if I had a PC that you can play games on...or a Dualshock contoller...
I use this almost daily mainly for the benefit of being able to use the audio jack on the DS4. Well worth it for that alone in my book.
Just got a notification from Amazon that it will be delivered tomorrow, when they were previously saying stock would be I'm nearer the end of the month.

Cheers. Not sure how that would have went down on my Honeymoon had I fired up the PS4
