Not sure, maybe when the only other alternatives for those looking cost £400? Just a thought.

Had a go on a pair of these with a 7.1 turtle beach headset on the new Resident Evil among other titles. Whilst I was very impressed by the quality of the whole set up and the new experience i had gained, i left the experience wondering why the headset is £400. Knowing the value of money, i believe that right now it would be untimely and overly expensive bit of gear. I came to this conclusion as i was told that if i wanted to experience just Resi Evil i would need the VR headset, A turtle beach headset, the game itself and the camera... I asked about other experiences among the different ones i tried and nothing stunned me quite like the resi evil game. This said, I'd strongly recommend against purchasing right now as it's being sold and advertised like an expensive gimmick and because of the lack of integration into mainstream games out right now i feel you wouldn't be wise investing in something that just wouldn't provide value for money right now. I'd say, buy the camera, headset, and resi evil first over next couple months and see what games are going to use the tech in their games.

p.s I'm very surprised GTA V haven't looked at integrating this after they released first person. That game would be worth purchasing it for. Be amazing!

I think I speak on behalf of most owners when I say I'm glad I didn't listen to advice like this. It's awesome, period. If you can afford it, go for it, it's unlikely you'll regret it and you can always sell for what you paid (or more) if it doesn't work out for you.

If you're using a turtle beach headset, chances are you're cheap anyway so the price wouldn't be justified for you.

Alright captain grumpy.

Looks very much like Sony have lost faith in VR too so buyer beware!

Yeah fair point. I have nothing against someone splashing the dough on it. My experience was great and by all means it's very good for Resi Evil. Everything else was merr.
