I bought mine 3 weeks ago and use it almost every day.

The real test will be if you are still using it 3 months down the line. 3 weeks is still very much the honeymoon period.

I had a PSVR and used it fairly regularly for about 6-8 months. I then sold it and bought an Oculus Rift, which I play daily (if I can).

With that said, I've just bought Monster Hunter World today so I have a feeling even the Rift will start to gather some dust now.

Really tempted to get the rift. I liked the ps vr but the chronic vr sickness was a killer.

tempted to give it another go st this price

Yes it is good, well worth £180 and doubly so if you have a PlayStation Pro

I had gone through a similar spell as I've owned mine since day one. RE7, Headmaster and Rush of Blood still my favorites.. but a lot of the games on PSN are now vaporware.

Found Farpoint dull and to be honest I've not found the time for Skyrim...

Lol

I'll either get lost in it and never come out of VR... or it could be the end of me and my PSVR (if I'm disappointed)

Also anyone getting this deal needs to buy Accounting plus.

Let me qualify that my saying I have never played it (even though I bought it before Xmas too) but played the free version on the Vive which is incredibly fun.

My son keeps playing fortnite and i don't get to have a chance to use the vr!
no camera
I think I may have given up hope on PSVR after seeing how short Moss is.
The hardware is brilliant but a lack of proper games has ruined it for me.
Great price, but really VR is just the same as any other peripheral on a games console, it’ll pass...
I've owned this and a Rift. the rift is sooo much better.. PSVR has too much pixelation and the headset itself is rather heavy and uncomfortable.
That said though £179 for a first timer experience in VR is excellent value. Heat added.
Could someone let me know what’s the differences between vr1 and 2? Not sure if to go for this or pay extra for vr2
"Light signs of use."

Translation: someone's sweaty head has been in this before you
RE7 and Farpoint are really frustrating in terms of showing you how great games can be. I wish so much there was a Farpoint (aim gun) style game more like a traditional FPS, in corporate offices, Die Hard style, holding your gun upwards beside doorways before going in and dispatching everyone with satisfying 3D blood splat effects.
Is this the older model, as the part number is Part No: CUH-ZVR1
Don't you still need to then buy those disco maracas?

Only real differences are the V2 has integrated headphones, and the processor box that connects the headset to the PS4 / TV allows a 4k signal to passthrough - the V1 did not allow this, so to take advantage of Pro-enabled games on a 4k TV, you had to disconnect the VR headset. If you don;t have a Pro and a 4k TV, then the V2 is of little advantage.

It did allow 4K passthrough, it was HDR it couldn't handle.

Yes it is mate

It's the camera you NEED, the Move (?) controllers I don't think are mandatory but that may depend on the game.

It still does
Seeing as the Pro was already in development the lack of HDR pass through was a really poor oversight (although it doesn’t affect me as I’m only on 1080p 🤨 )
One thing someone might be able to answer as I’ve had my V1 since release day, does the V2 have a headphone socket as well as integrated ear buds and can the integrated ear buds be removed? I cant think of much more annoying than being forced to use the ear buds, swapping them with friends as they play etc. Instead of using my cans.

Yes it does. The older move controllers are better quality (some metal bits inside rather than plastic)
How does this compare with VR for PC?
Do i need the camera and move controller for this?

How does this compare with VR for PC?

it doesn't compare to be honest. PSVR is decent dont get me wrong.. but after i had it for a couple of months i sold it and later got an oculus rift.. the oculus is far far superior. PSVR has a hell of a lot of pixelation which takes away from the experience too much in my opinion. the headset is also heave and so many annoying heavy cables running from it. the pc vr has far far less pixelation and is a lot smoother.. headsets are very light also.. if you have the spec for a pc headset then get that instead. if not.. and its going to be too expensive too upgrade your pc.. then in all honesty vr for £180 on ps4 is still a great deal to initially get into vr.

Thanks for the heads up!
Think of the poor folks who can't use tech like this thanks to motion sickness. I've never even played half-life thanks to just wanting to throw up.
