I Lived close to here for a year, pretty sure that is a computer centre. I realise that has little impact on this deal. Just a bit of a surprise to see Sham Shui Po mentioned on HUKD
would be a good deal for like 200 and under

Does it really make that much difference as you're wearing the headset anyway, wouldn't the HDR just be for a spectators benefit?

As someone who went out of his way to get a V2 for my PS4 pro I would say it makes little difference.

For me the biggest difference is the cabling from the headset.

The V1 has thick cabling with a connection box at ground level (I was always wary of stepping on the box and you can get a 3d clip printed)

V2 is a very thin cable that I feel you could totally break by stepping on.

Either way neither are perfect or deal breakers.

V2 ear phones clip tidily around the headset (I use proper headphones anyway) and the volume etc are awkwardly on the headset itself.

V1 has a little control box at neck level where the power/volume/ earphones attach which is slightly more convenient.

I'd be just as happy with V1 or v2

,
I've actually got the V1 headset, but rarely use it... I just wasn't sure as to the real world benefits of upgrading to the V2 with the HDR passthrough etc, I could only see it giving a better quality picture to the tv for anyone watching, and no real visual difference inside the headest.

anyway, thanks for the info... it's appreciated

Also I think it's so you don't need to unplug the pass through cable to get HDR to play on the TV when just gaming normally, like on the V1. (I could be wrong don't own either).
