From Amazon:
We have sold through our allocation of PSVR and will not have any more stock before Christmas.

Orders will be fulfilled in the order they are placed as soon as we receive further stock. This is likely to be early 2017.

In case anyone is planning on getting this as a Christmas present:

If it's an Xmas pressie, it looks like Game have stock at the end of November (albeit at £349.99).

Ah missed out on that info, have added into the description, thanks

Decent price but considering it won't be coming till 2017, i'd want more incentive to order than that but still a good deal.

Personally, I think I will concentrate on upgrading to the pro in the near future and then get the VR in a year, possibly two when it has had time to mature and hopefully by then there might be better value everything you need in one box type bundles...

Prices will have dropped in January anyway

I'm considering the same. It looks like a lot of the best VR games are being optimised for the Pro.

its the gameplay and experience that makes psvr, what your waiting for isnt that much of a boost tbh!

jump in now id say

Keep checking argos I managed to get one yesterday

Just wait till after Xmas there will be plenty of second hand one's about, it's still new technology that's why everyone is panic buying them, it's the iPhone syndrome these will tumble in price if/when they bring out V2 next year.

but why would I want v1 if v2 is out?

To save money, obviously, a big motivator for many people, or sites like this wouldn't be around. Personally I think too that a slightly refined version will appear in a year or two and if the V1 still does everything you need then why not save the money as there is always a premium attached to new tech....
