You can get a VR for this price but version 2 which comes with the camera. And you can normally get a deal that comes with a game or two now for this price
Don't buy version 1 unless it's way cheaper than this. This is NOT a good deal.

I didn’t realise this was the first version not such a good deal after all
In terms of the headset itself, the only difference between V1 and V2 is proper support for pass-through HDR. If you can get a V2 for the same or better price then fair enough, but it being a V1 headset isn't in itself a problem unless you've got an HDR compatible TV.

If it’s just the headset then v1 should be alot cheaper than the package with a camera.

Which is exactly why I said, "If you can get a V2 for the same or better price then fair enough". I was motivated to comment because of doodygirl and Rustybucket's preceding posts which seemed to imply that v1 was somehow inherently much worse. In reality the difference is negligible for a lot of people so deals on that hardware it shouldn't be automatically dismissed just because it's the V1 hardware; only if the price itself means the deal isn't very good.
