If you buy one of these, make sure you keep the receipt. They have a design problem with the hinges that means that they crack and break so you may need to return them for replacement after a while. Good headset and price otherwise.

Might be an rrp post but stock isn't everywhere so its worth a post (just) And with JL its a cosy 2 years guarantee so its something over and above what other retailers might offer. Not actually sure what smyths and amazon offer? (although i have had probs with JL re their solid gold guarantee js)

More curious as to whether the are worth £50? apart from the hinge thing do they actually sound any good?

Never had them although a friend has said they are decent, it’s the wireless that puts me off always having to charge I went for the hyperx cloud stinger sound quality is unbelievable and the mic is managed to pick them up for £35 aswell don’t let the price fool you though

interesting, thanks for that. If there was any stock of these at my local argos i'd probably grab these after looking at a few reviews they would probably do me, and i could offload some Christmas vouchers in the process.
How are these any better than using any other decent headphones? I'm assuming any Bluetooth headphones can connect and do the same job (the ones that have a built in mic)
Bought them for 54£ last month
Really nice headset - I got them on Amazon for this price a couple of days ago. They sound great. The mic is not perfect though in that you have to have it turned up quite loud for people to hear you so they can sometimes get some unwanted background noise from time to time. Overall though I recommend these.

I don't think anynone says they are better - just this is a good price for an excellent headset.

I should have said will any old headphones actually work on the ps4? If I have a set of Bluetooth Bose headphones already will they pair up on bluetooth and do the same job?
These are a good headset. I've had mine for a while now and they're still going strong, no signs of the hinge breaking (touch wood).
Pretty sure sony only allows there own Bluetooth headphones to connect to ps4

Oh right, was thinking if I could I'd rather buy a nice pair I could use with my phone on a commute etc which would double up with the PS4 but doesn't look like that's possible

What's the 3.5mm output on the pad for? Sorry as you can tell I've only just got my PS4..
Hinge broke on mine after very very little use and no abuse. I wouldn't buy again. Fair to good audio for the price, but as these are PS specific and not bluetooth you cant use them wirelessly with anything else. I'd opt for a decent pair of normal or BT headphones and plug them in to the controller instead.

I use mine on my pc too without problems as you can plug dongle in.

But cant be used to pair qith any other bluetooth device sadly

Had them 2 years and they broke last week

Love the sound but you have to be careful with them.
These work on the NINTENDO SWITCH via the docking station

Nephew has had them 2 years, will buy again if they break. Also work on PC and Apple Mac.
These are also 50 quid on amazon, have been for a while now
These are brilliant and well worth the £50 price tag.
I agree with the other comments about the price not being amazing; you can usually find these at this price one place or another. The bonus is it's from JL and you get the perks that come with it.
It's still good to see this deal being highlighted so people are aware and don't pay the higher amount that some shops sell it for.
Great set of headphones. Blocks out external noise and sound/mic is very clear and comfortable to wear. Had mine for a few years now and still going strong.
These are absolutely brilliant. I have them for ovwr two years. Still going strong. Using them with my PS4 and also with my PC (with HTC Vive headset). Really good sound quality. Showing a sign of wear and tear on the pads now but that I understandable. I paid £80 for mine and I would pay that again. Good quality product.

Can't decide if they look cool or if they look like a Dyson desk fan.
I just bought a set off amazon warehouse deals. Hopefully they are new.
Had the ps3 version and paid £90 for them back in the day. Still work and had them on last night but the pads are all worn and wasn’t very comfortable when I wore them last night.

Yep but most reviewers say these last well into 2-3 years if looked after . Still rather pay £39 with just the 1 year .

This is hard work lol. They used to always be 69.99 because that's what I paid when came out. Tesco by me still show as 69.99 and game 64.95 . ?
