Best price I can find for Sony's own headset for the PS4 (and Vita).

Wireless, chargeable with 7.1 virtual surround sound.

There are cheaper alternatives but I've read good things about these and am purchasing them now...! X)

£46.54, but if you go through flubit you will save about 50p to £1 depending on the offer......however.......theres quidco for flubit!! of 11%. Could work out at about £41 if all goes to plan.

The gold standard of all plastic, thank you

I know I paid more (which isn't what this deal is about!) but I bought a pair from Argos last week, paying £49 + £18 for their 2-year replace-if-it-breaks cover.
The major concern with these seems to be breakage and this way I should have that covered.

Should have got a price match at JL and saved money

Great headset, really do make a difference when playing a game (or watching a film). Paid £70 for mine ages ago, so if you're after a decent set of surround headphones this is definitely worth considering.

Get these from Argos for 48.99 last week white and black ones, needed 2 pairs for the kids

sorry ment to say in-store lol . And yes right down to 54p black or white

Mine arrived this morning and am really surprised how good these actually are. Sound quality is superb for the price point. They are on a par with the turtle beach 520s I just returned (that were £90) and the surround sound is much better and more defined in the Sony headphones too. Well worth the money. Just hope they dont break easily like seems to be the issue.

Got them for £35 off Amazon warehouse. Delivered yesterday and look new.

Good deal then... only concerns would be the plastic wearing, as some have mentioned, and the fact that I have an aversion to sharing headphones with strangers

They do indeed look brand new and Amazon warehouse give 1 year guarantee for piece of mind.

The point I obviously didn't make very well is that the Argos cover includes accidental breakage - the John Lewis 2-year warranty just extends the manufacturer's warranty and does not include accidental breakage cover. Now, OK, perhaps it can be argued that cracks in the plastic or broken hinges are a manufacturing defect but I could easily see a future argument in 23 months at the JL customer service desk about wear and tear and rough handling, but with the Argos cover it's "oops, I broke them, new ones please".

Good point,it is 3 years, just be a little rough after 35 months and get a new set,job sorted

Amazing headset the sound is so so good and you can turn the chat up and down too so you get a balance between the game sound and chat. They also work plug and play on Windows 10
