Omg! Wish i could sell my black pro for this

Been waiting for a white one before picking up the Pro, I guess now is the time! Making a new black/white PC build to go along with it.

great if you have a decent 4k tv if not don't bother

see my gaming pc deal from scan.co.uk got it 2 weeks ago. cost you more to make it yourself.

I know it has nothing to do with this thread but I will pay the £50 in a couple of months and buy the Xbox one X. It looks vastly more powerful, I was going to upgrade to the pro but after seen a friend's and him saying he can't tell the difference I think the One X is the way to go.

I would buy a one x too if there were any games for it.
Will just buy 2 switch's instead.

Re:the Xbox X - it will be £100 more expensive than the PS4 Pro (and that's before the price cut Sony will respond with) - and there are no decent exclusives for Xbox X.
If you are an Xbox owner, Can you play Uncharted 1-5?, The Last of Us 1-2?, Wipeout Omega Collection?, Horizon Zero Dawn?, Insomniac Studio's upcoming Spider-Man game?...

No?....

Well that's because they are all Ps4 exclusives!.

(P. S: And it's not vastly more powerful, specs have it at just under 30% more powerful GPU. But to be honest that means nothing if you are missing out on great games like the forementioned Sony exclusives) .

If graphics and resolution is what matters most to you. Then sure go with the Xbox One X. Just don't expect many games to get a patch or many future games to run at 60FPS. The Xbox One X still has the potato Jaguar CPU and is only ever so slightly faster than the Pro CPU (also a potato Jaguar). The CPU is what is holding both the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro back and it's why the likes of Assassin's Creed, Destiny 2 and more is running at 30FPS on both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X because the processor is so weak.

If both the Pro and the Xbox One X has a Ryzen CPU even the cheaper 1400 30FPS gaming would be a thing of the past as both systems have a great GPU inside (especially the Xbox One X). If anyone is interested in my opinion. If you all ready own an Xbox One S or a Slim PS4 or old style PS4. Just stick with them unless you have a PSVR then the Pro is worth getting.

Could be wrong but you're not really going to see a difference until the games are more demanding

callofdute1

Not necessarily, there is a noticeable difference with supersampling on 1080p and better frame rates.

They could have at least made it a 2tb version. I have a 2tb hard drive in my standard PS4 and can always use that but surely they could give a 2tb version for the price.

Still benefits for 1080p games in higher quality or more FPS?

Don't forget more games to be added this year because Sony is hosting two PSX 2017 one in Asia and the other in usual place forgot where lol. Also GAMESCON expect more new games.

Or just wait for PS5. Will be announced soon. Release might be slated for end of 2018 or somewhere around 2019. AMD Ryzen is where next gen gaming begins.

How much will I be able to flip Destiny 2 and the pass for on eBay? I only really want the console.

Every single 1st party Xbox game will eventually get a patch to true 4k resolution and 60fps where possible. That will do for me seen as though it will beat my rx 580 in pretty much everything due to the closed environment. That coupled with the hardware dx12 chip handling the thousands of roll call instructions and turning them into just 11. Now that is beyond impressive its pretty much revolutionary when it comes to gaming. Also 4k 60fps live streaming, that is like the of a £150 capture card on its own, the value you are getting is insane.

Well that makes no difference to me at all because I own a PS4 too. But Sony fans always come up with the same argument, oh well you can't play this and you can't play that. Well can you play HALO, gears of War 4, gears of War ultimate, forza 7, forza horizon 3, sea of theives, Sunset Overdrive, halo wars,
2, cup head, crackdown 3, dead rising, killer instinct just to name a few. Then there's services like EA access, and Xbox game pass, backwards compatibility for free o
With Xbox and 360 games. What does Sony offer ps now lol. Don't get my wrong I love my PlayStation but let's start calling Sony out here, they offer far less, the online service is a poor shadow of Xbox live, after years of pushing power they are now cowering in the corner. They actually got caught using the Anthem footage running on the Xbox one X and photo shopping the ps4 buttons over it ha ha. Also the system is 40% more powerful in total, it's not all down to the gpu, the fact that X has 9gb of ram dedicated to games alone at a much faster speed makes a Huge difference and is in fact the very reason the X can have 4k textures loaded into memory. Something the pro just can't do with AAA games.

That would get the price down to basically the same as the black pro so fingers crossed!

Halo, Gears of War and Forza are old and tired as hell franchises that are wheeled out time after time after time on Xbox. As a three generations xbox owner I am really enjoying the refreshing and much more varied selection of games on the PS4 Pro.

Don't double standard, what about uncharted? Does that count as another tired franchise then? There are four games plus a new stand alone game coming out not including the handheld games so that makes the same amount of games as gears then. What about gran tourismo? This new one will make 8 games in total, is that the same old rehash? What about God of war? There has been 6 in total the new one will make 7 including the handheld games, is that still a tired franchise then? You can't say Microsoft push out the same games and then when Sony do exactly the same give them a pass. You may not like the games Microsoft put out and that's fine but they sell well if not better than every ps4 exclusive does and they have only half the install Base. That to me shows that Xbox gamers support their exclusive content more than ps4 owners do. The numbers are there, go take a look. The ps4 fans will no longer have the best version of the multiplats either when Xbox one X comes out. The console will be better graphically, resolution wise and have a far better online service in Xbox live than the pro. So for me I will be keeping my ps4 for god of war and spiderman, and let's face it spiderman will more than likely be Christmas 2018 release date as Sony games take forever. Still it actually does look amazing hopefully it's worth the wait.

Not really as Uncharted is Bafta award winning and Halo & Gears of War are generic FPS crap.

I think 2019 for the PS5. Someone at Sony recently mentioned that they might go with a discrete GPU with the PS5 instead of a APU. With Zen 2 coming out next year I can see the PS5 having a custom Ryzen cpu inside.

If they go discrete GPU that will be really good. APU are ok don't get me wrong but a discrete GPU will offer better performance.
