Not sure if this is a good price or not - but Boots seem to have plenty of combinations of PSP and games at various prices in their 1/2 price sale

With high-quality graphics processing capability equivalent to that of PlayStation 2, in addition to rich stereo sound, PSP offers the joy of playing full-scale 3D-CG games and viewing high resolution video images anytime, anywhere.
Equipped with a wireless LAN feature, PSP enables users to connect to the Internet through access points, making it possible for users to download game characters and content and also to play games on-line with families, friends and on-line community members.

For a more intimate gaming experience, a maximum of 16 PSP systems can be connected wirelessly through the ad-hoc mode allowing family and friends to create an instant yet powerful local on-line entertainment community.

Good price for what I think is the best gadget ever. Great when travelling as you can watch movies on the decent size screen and play mp3 and surf the net in wi-fi spots. Plenty of decent cheap games out there too. The UMD's are a waste of time tho as you can convert any of your dvd's into files to put on the memory stick.

I own a DS, ipods, Wii, PS3, PS2 and the PSP is still my fav piece of kit!

Great price especially for the much coverted WHITE one!

Use the code SJMA36 for a £10 Discount - Thanks go to Laineyfairy on the Boots sale thread for this.

sold out now:x

was that the old version?

do people still buy the PSP?

PSP is fantastic if you own a ps3, remote control of the console, stream divx/xvid direct from the ps3 onto the psp wherever you are, remote play of ps1 games.

Its great.

I brought mine a few months back from SVP on a deal posted on HUD

It`s flashed with dark alex`s 3.40OE firmware, and i wouldn`t be without it.
it now doubles as mp3 and Divx player as well as i can also bundle all my umd games onto 1 memory stick :-D
With updated firmware you`d be suprised what this little baby is capable of.

Absolutely love my (modded ) PSP, if it packed up today i'd have to get another tomorrow, top games, movies, MP3, homebrew, internet....... quality!!

A million times better than the iPhone that everyone is wetting themselves over.

this the old heavy one. get the new one.

for £30 more? You'd be mad.

People buy the PSP, its sales figures have actually been quite good (around half the DS, not bad considering how overwhelmingly successful the DS has been).

On the other hand, very few games are sold because it's really most valuable as a portable media player.

It was £20 more with £20 code from John Lewis. Feels better inhand.

More psp will be sold when Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core comes out end of march.

Great deal. Shame its sold out now.
Why don't Sony advertise like Nintendo? then they might sell PSP and PS3 a bit better.

Like wolfie says get one put the new custom firmware on it (3.71 M33-4) buy a 4Gb memory card and you can play 'homebrew' stuff on it.

I take it you do mean homebrew games ;-):whistling:
Try here ]http//ww…om/

I advise you read and read again. it`s not as bad as it used to be ( firmware upgrading )
Less chance of ruining you psp these days:-D

:santa:

YOu won`t need a new battery to upgrade just a fully charged one. But i`m afraid you`ll need atleast a 2Gb card but 4Gb is better

well i was told i can save the games to my memory card some how save me carrying all the games around. is this possible or not? this is what i really want to know and how to do it.
