how does this compare to the Mark 5? considering upgrading to either the 4 or 5 from earlier RX100 model

edit2: good table comparing specs of mk1 to mk5 models:

great deal, i think the best of the sony 'deal of the day' from amazon

m5 is obviously better than m4 but its an incremental update
at this price difference m4 is a much better buy
Not sure if this has got lost in the myriad of deals posted today. This is really good. It should be hotter.
Thanks
With the £100 Sony cashback as well, this should be hotter.
Was hoping to get one from the Warehouse before the 20% off expires at midnight and just ordered one with 15 minutes to go for £441.
If the condition is not decent, described being As New, or the cashback fails I will return it but getting one of these for £341 is worth a punt as its only £87 more than the M3 I also ordered.
If the M3 is in good nick I might claim the cashback and sell it for a profit to defer the cost of the M4.
I know my limit and the M5 is a step too far.

not sure Amazon Warehouse would be eligible for Sony Cashback promo

Claimed successfully before so it's just a matter of whether the original buyer made a claim or not; Fingers crossed.
Note: The Amazon invoice does not state the condition so Sony have no idea.

Really? Does it not say Marketplace on it? I was bored and browsing the cashback rules and saw this: "Sony will not accept claims against products purchased from eBay or from third party sellers on Amazon.co.uk's Marketplace platform (whether listed as new or used)." Which would've have put me off

It's not Marketplace though its Warehouse and it doesn't mention it. I've put in 4 successful claims with Sony from Warehouse deals.
