It's been posted before but now even cheaper! I'm seriously tempted but please can someone confirm for me whether it charges while in use. I have read many people claiming one way or the other. Best info I have yet is that it won't stop working if you plug in the charger while using it, but unfortunately no-one seems to know whether it is actually charging at this point our you have to turn it off for it to charge. this is a deal breaker for me, hopefully someone can clarify. Price includes delivery!

I have one and yes you can plug in and charge whilst using. I do on train into a ee battery pack

Will it turn on by itself when it's plugged in? I'm looking to use something like this on my old stereo without having to get up and turn on bluetooth everytime i switch the stereo on.
Will that do the job?

Thanks crixus, was going to use it in the car and my USB ports only power up when the car is running, so charging while using is a must.

Ordered , cheers OP

Probably a stupid question, but can this connect to multiple devices at the same time? I use my Linx10 on the train to watch movies and sometimes miss calls as I have headphones on - could this connect to both; listen to the movie on the Linx and cut to phone if I get a call?

N1Andy can't imagine it can because it connects to one device at a time, only thought have you phone set to vibrate and put in trouser pocket?

When a call comes in, the Bluetooth headset knows which device is ringing and will connect to the right one automatically. Multipoint can benefit most Bluetooth headset users, for example: If you have to carry around a work phone and a personal phone but don’t want the hassle of having two separate headsets. If you use Skype at home, but don’t want to be tied down to sitting in front of your PC. If you like listening to music, but don’t want to miss incoming calls because you’ve got a headset on. In each instance, Multipoint Bluetooth allows you to conveniently make and receive calls from multiple devices, whether they be phones, laptops, games consoles or MP3 players. Please note: this product has a USB cable for charging and comes with a 2-pin mains adapter. See the related product links on the left of this page for mains adapters.

I believe the multi point connectivity allows precisely this. Only allows 2 devices to connect though, I think. I don't have any need for that functionality though, so haven't looked into it, please don't take my word for it!

I use it at the gym. Saves my phone from getting pulled off the machine by accident as it clips to my tshirt

From the manual:

Multipoint technology
Use Multipoint technology to connect your headset to two Bluetooth™ devices at the
same time. For example, if you connect your headset with two phones, you can
receive calls from both phones without having to disconnect and reconnect.
If you prefer that your headset connects to just one Bluetooth™ device at any given
time, you can use Singlepoint mode instead. Before pairing your headset with a new
device in Singlepoint mode, make sure that you disconnect it from other devices.

Is it loud?

Own one of these to listen to podcasts at night so don't keep my phone under the pillow. Very good battery life!

I have this unit and can confirm it does not charge while it is on, I beleive the next model up does have this function though.

This can connect to up to two devices at once for media functionality, of those devices only one can be used for voice input. I often use it when connected to my phone and tablet. If you receive a call on one of your devices while listening/watching something on the other device it will automatically pause the media until the call is over.

might pick up a pair for when on the mountain bike, heat from me

Also in white for £15.49.

Looks to me as though the earphones are separate from from the Bluetooth receiver and a 3.5mm jack is used to connect them. Does anyone know if iPhone earphones can be used with the Sony receiver?
Edited by: "buglawton" 23rd Jun 2015

Yes, iPhone headphones can be used with the receiver but the mic/buttons will not work on the headphone cable as the Bluetooth module already has those.

They have been about for years and years, they are reliable, but usually take a while to deliver (although I haven't ordered from them recently)

really good price, very tempted i must admit

Ordered, thank you

I have got a pair of these in white and they are great, apart they look like a 1970s deaf aid around my neck. Excellent for when you are cycling and running etc. Would recommend.

Also, 2.5% TCB possible..

Thanks, very tempted by these.

What's good about these is that you can plug any 3.5mm headphones or audio jack into them effectively
converting any normal speaker with audio in into a bluetooth wireless speaker.

Different colours available on Amazon for a few pounds more.

Is it possible to connect two of these to the same device at the same time, so two users can watch a film on an android tablet using Bluetooth?

I must be getting old, I could not figure out what this product even was for until I saw it in-use on google images.

Bought this when they were £14.99 and yes they're good but the switch has already broken on mine so I need to send it back. But I'll buy another one in the mean time.

there is an SBH20B available, does anyone know the difference?

In my car, depending on the fuse position, i can set the lighter socket to one of 2 options:
1. Always on, even when car is not running
2. only when car is running

this option may be available for your car too

It might be a bit low on volume but it's probably best to just get one of those adapters that splits one headphone socket into 2, or more, and run 2 sets of headphones out of the Bluetooth unit. I know that won't allow you to move independently of each other but it frees you both from the tablet obviously.

Thanks, will definitely look into this, I've seen a comment from another user saying it won't charge while in use, so if that's the case, I might need to see if this is supported on my car, as I'll need it!

I've got it and it can connect to two devices at one time, but only one at a time can feed the audio. I.e. I'm watching TV on my iPad and my phone rings, the iPad pauses and the call comes through.

No your device would only send audio to one of the headsets - this is more a limitation of your playback device than anything, but most bluetooth stuff is design to transmit to 1 device at a time.

Bought one last time around. Have not used it once since. HOT.

Ordered one... handy to listen music from PC and receive calls from phone..
