Cheapest price according to Camelizer. This normally fluctuates between £319 - £329 brand new on Amazon.

This is a cracking lens, and I use this as my main lens on my Sony a6000, great for portraits and general walk-around, and excellent for low light situations.

Great price paid £400 for this a few years ago. Pin sharp and great for portraits / bokeh.

Great price, I would still get the Sigma 30mm F1.4 at £249.

But you do get stabilisation on this Sony lens so better for video and its a bit more compact.

Would you say the Sigma is better for photo quality? Been looking at these 2 for a while. I don't shoot video

I have the Sigma but have never tried the Sony 35mm, but all the research I did had the Sigma as the sharper lens as I never do video too.
Also if you do get the Sigma make sure you update the firmware (depending on manufacture date) as auto-focus is improved quite a bit as when I originally got mine that was one of the advantages for the Sony 35mm was the better auto-focus.

Best lens for an aps c but its wide angle is 14mm f1.4 sigma

Assume you mean the sigma 16mm f1.4

Did really consider it as everyone loves theirs, but already have the Samyang 12mm f2.0 so can't justify another wide angle lens.

Anyone seen good deals on a Sony a6000 (with kit lens) ? Thanks.
It is £158.34 here photospecialist.co.uk/son…015

Orders with a value up to £ 75: £ 9.95
Orders of products from £ 75: £ 7.95

Haven't purchased yet but have this on my list in the next few weeks as just started using the a6300 kit lens to see if I like this or the 50mm for my next lens.

Sony ALWAYS do cashback offers. I bought mine off amazon when they were discounts a couple of months back and got £150 cashback on top. Just keep checking sony website. They provide a list of participating merchants.

This is not the same lens.
The Op is referring to 35mm F1.8 OSS - RRP £379
You're referring to DT 35mm F1.8 SAM - RRP £179

£469 plus the £100 cash back Sony offering. camerapricebuster.co.uk/Son…ens I suggest monitoring this throughout the day for the a6000 and a6300 as the price may drop even further but already the a6000 price looks good.

Ah k, thanks for letting me know. Definitely stopped me from making a mistake. Cheers
EDIT: I have just noticed you can apply a £27.90 voucher which will reduce this even further - to £251.10. Even more of a deal
