This is a sort of hybrid Fitness-band like / Smartwatch kind of product using an e-ink display.

It doesn't track your BPM, but sleep, step, running, offers notifications, control of your music, alarm notifications to the watch, and of course time/date, and taking phone calls via your wrist.

Lasts about 3-4 days on a single charge and mates with an Android device running Kitkat (4.4) minimum. I use with my Sony Xperia Z2 without problem.

I have been using one for the past 13 months and I love it. I can see how bad I have been sleeping, get woken up in the morning without disturbing my partner and children. Check my phone notifications for important messages, take the odd call, and control my music. I can also see how active I have been for my walks.

Seems like an all time low price for this. Have a read (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/smartwear/smartband-talk-swr30/) and see if you want this or not, but I think its hot for this price.

Good price but it doesn't have heart rate monitor. Heat added
does this stay synced to your phone well? I have a cheap chinese band which when it works is brilliant but the lost phone buzz occurs even if the phone is right next to the band!
Hmm tempted to replace my Microsoft band 1 with this as this can do a lot of things the MS band can't.

like:
Make/receive calls.
Android wear support.
Smart alarm to wake you up.
Lighter + more ergonomic.
Reminders etc ( feels half assed on android)
Better battery life.
Waterproof.

---
Negatives:
No GPS
No heart rate monitor though. ( Phone can do it with an app anyway)
E-ink screen ( better battery but no colour)

I haven't experienced syncing problems when the phone's closeby. Seems to work well with my z2. I have it configured to bluetooth unlock my phone so I don't need to enter the passcode on the phone.

The bluetooth connection seems to have a good range.
It looks nice.
Anyone is using it with Windows smartphone?

nicely summed up. You may have just persuaded me to give this a go!

when you say android wear, can you install things to this watch?

I really want to be able to get my google keep notifications to come up. If I can find a way of doing this, I will be a happy man

ahhh you cant see this in the dead of night. the one feature I do like on my crappy band thingy is that it illuminates my path ever so slightly when Im stumbling back to bed after feeding my baby in the middle of the night
I don't use Google Keep, but I did a quick search and found this: talk.sonymobile.com/t5/…e/2, where 2 people have posted that they get notifications from Google Keep.
Does it work with iPhone?
Sounds well spec'd but no heart rate sensor is a deal breaker. For a fitness tracker, that should be an included feature.

unfortunately Sony didnt develop a ios based companion app. I took a look on the Apple apps store and there isnt a 3rd party alternative that I could see.

Sorry
No longer available
I just checked the website and it appears it's back in stock.
i ordered thursday and picked it up on friday and I love it

syncs brilliantly with my phone and I havent missed a thing since wearing it. the notifications from google keep and the fact you can add a stop watch and countdown timer etc to it makes this excellent

best £50 i have spent

Lost mine within a week.

The strap is sadly not particularly secure and prone to coming undone.

Nice bit of kit for a few days though...
