Tried out all of the Bluetooth speakers available in Currys and this was the best one by far and at a great price, I think it's just been reduced down from £129.99.
Bought one myself and have been blown away by the sound it creates, there's a LOT of bass for the size of the thing and the mids and highs sound very clear. It even sounds better than my Genius 2.1 PC gaming speakers!

It's available in Black, Blue or White, I bought the blue one and love the way it looks. There's a weighty feel to it and is extremely well-built.

If you're on the fence please don't hesitate to give it a try in-store, you won't be disappointed!

Specs below:

• Bluetooth with NFC pairing
• Output power: 20 W
• USB with Play & Charge
• Up to 12 hours battery life

Same price in John Lewis

and JL have it in red as well as the other colours ...

Not so interested in it being portable, but i wonder how it compares with the Sony HTCT60BT sound bar for the same sort of money?

I've got one under my TV and its pretty impressive. I tend to just BT to it from my phone or tablet when all I want it music.

It most likely won't compare to that soundbar + subwoofer, but then this product is intended to be used in a completely different way. I'm usually not a fan of Bluetooth speakers but when there's ones that sound a lot bigger than they look I'm all for it. This can easily fill a large room with superb, crisp sound and no distortion, which means it's perfect to take away on holiday or to parties. I like using it in different rooms throughout my house and having great sound wherever I go.

How does this compare to the bose soundlink mini 1 and 2?

I think you're getting confused between the Sony SRS-X3 and this one. The SRS-X33 has just come out and is the successor to to the SRS-X3. This new model is smaller, louder, has a bigger battery and features new high quality audio codecs. They look very similar though so it's easy to get confused between the two! xD

Why did you put £89.99 when you say youself that the price is £129.99?
