I thought the Argos & John Lewis deal was pretty sound (ahem), however, then found cheaper for Amazon Prime members. Usually £80.

  • EXTRA BASS - hit the EXTRA BASS button to get things going; dual passive radiators work together with stereo full-range speakers giving bass a boost, despite the compact size
  • Up to 12 hours of battery life - play music all day with up to 12 hours of battery life; the voice feedback function tells you the remaining battery level and when it's time to recharge
  • Water-resistant design - whether you're listening to tunes indoors or outdoors, relax knowing the wireless speaker is IPX5 water-resistant
  • Wireless party chain - Enjoy the same song with wireless party chain. Connect up to 10 wireless speakers via Bluetooth and synchronise the music and lighting so everyone's dancing to the same beat
  • Any time, any place - the SRS-XB20 is compact and wireless so it's easy to move; with a long battery life and a water-resistant surface, you're free to pick it up and put it anywhere

I have been looking at get a Sony speaker for a while, I think the only negative for me is the speaker cannot be charged via USB. It has its own proprietary connection so mains only. Unless anyone knows any different?

This or JBL flip 4?

Excellent deal and speakers, paid £80 from Amazon at the end of August when they were going for £100 elsewhere,

EDIT: For anyone interested, uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Son…MCN

i got the xb30, so not fully sure on this. Buts its 24 hours of charge, I literally charge it every 3 weeks and I use it nearly every morning / evening. Doesn't matter its mains, the battery life is amazing.

Thanks OP, I picked one up. Great little speaker!
