How is it compared to JBL Flip 2?

cheap!

I'm thinking of 2 speakers for a stereo effect in my bathroom. Considering this would be £60 are there any better stereo products that do something similar or better for £60?

great bit of kit, got one over Christmas, good sound balance for its size....

Bought one of these for £40 from Currys a few weeks back, excellent little speaker and waterproof to boot!

How does the size and sound compare to say an Xmini Uno?

I really like Audio Dynamic Mesh 2. Available on Amazon for £24.99. For a bathroom, I don't think you would be disappointed!

Battery life seems lacking, hows it compare to xmini in that regard?

What's the difference between this version and the SRS-BTV5 being sold for a few quid more on Amazon?

Looks like the SRS-X1 is the newer version, and also water resistant.

Btw folk NFC is NOT a streaming standard.

It makes it easier to pair your bluetooth phone to the speaker.

It will still stream the music via Bluetooth.

The speaker is a stabdard Bluetooth speaker, the NFC just saves you inputting the bluetooth code, instead you just touch an NFC equipped device to it to pair them.

I bought one at Xmas for £40 awesome in the bathroom, just bought another for stereo sound thanks!

So did I

Win some loose some I suppose....

On the other hand I am very happy with it - sony state upto 12 hours use on the research I had done before purchase - Currys are probably being conservative to avoid returns.
(I used for about 6 hours on Tuesday night and three hours last night - still working when I switched it off!)

Also the bluetooth range is VERY impressive for anyone reading. I can leave my laptop in one corner of house downstairs and use the speaker in the opposite corner upstairs, or outside etc... (much more than 10M)

I get more than 7 hours as per my last comment above

bought for son at Xmas, he loves it. paid more than this, so at this price = heat:)

Just got it now for £19.99 (Had £10 on Curry Gift card) and it says it can do stereo if you do stereo function pairing? Has anyone successfully got stereo with two on bluetooth? I'm tempted to get another one to try it and make a YT video...

Anyway will get a video of this unboxing and do a quick review.
