Lol if you think the quality and features of a smartphone match that of a dedicated camcorder, you're having a laugh
Oh damn. I ordered the SELP18105G lens yesterday. I did get £25 off through the Amex code at Amazon, but £40 cashback on top would have been an extra bonus.

Has anyone had any luck of buying refurbished and managing to claim the cashback on it in the past? (Looking at Amazon warehouse, direct from a sony centre)

Direct from warehouse I've had 2 things go through, and 2 declined in past couple of years. Just have to hope it's not been registered. It's bit of a lottery though.
Wish they would just knock the cashback off at PoS.

I bought a Samsung Notebook some years ago with £50 cashback......... Never received it, no comeback from Samsung when I contacted them.
Cashback is a risk and not guaranteed. Bit like Quidco/TCB

In such cases I keep the thing in the box with receipt ready for return until the cashback is confirmed.

If it's not forthcoming then I decide if I want it at the non-cashback price otherwise it's going back.

Cashback was meant to be paid after 90 days iirc. Don’t think you can take it back after then.

I bought a Sony A6300 from Amazon warehouse last December for £500ish, then applied for this cashback of £200 a couple of months later and got a nice £200 deposit in my bank about about a month after that. I was a bit skeptical if it would work but seeing as I got such a good deal on what was effectively a brand new camera anyway I didn't really care. So I basically got my A6300 for about £300. They only ask for an invoice and the serial no as proof of purchase and the invoice doesn't say amazon warehouse on it anywhere. I guess if someone has already claimed this cashback against that serial number it might not work.
got mine cashback from last time with no problems
gonna fly out soon - does Dixons qualify?

Where did you find it at that price? A6300 with kit?

cant remember - was 699 before cashback when i posted though
right now the a6300 with 18-135 is decent @ 700 after cashback
On Sony's offer page, the A7M3 relates to the A7 III and the A7M3K relates to the kit lens version?

That makes it almost as cheap as buying from Panamoz etc.

Bristol Cameras are doing the kit lens version for the same price as Amazon, but also including an additonal battery, which seems a really good deal.

EDIT: Wex are offering the Sigma MC-11 mount convertor for half price (as a bundle), which allows Canon and/or Sigma lenses to be used, which is handy for any Canon defectors! (also just posted this on the A7 iii specific deal).
