Just buy a ps4

Do you know something about it playing 4K discs, the rest of the world doesn't?

I paid less than this a year and half ago. Why is it still so much? Technology is meant to come down in price.

Probably because it hasn't got a replacement model yet. Where did you buy yours? Apparently best price on Amazon DE, Amazon UK best price is £150. Is it worth the money?

What's Bozo done now? Some announcement about making it illegal for the UK to ask for yet another extension?! Yup.
Is this a standard thing to do ? Buying from amazon germany I mean ? If there were any problems would you be able to send it back just the same ?
I bought this months ago and had to return it as it doesn't play some 4k discs very well, it keep on "crashing" on 2001 A Space Odyssey. I bought a (more expensive) Panasonic and it plays perfectly. Oh and you have to manually change the Dolby Vision setting instead of it being automatic for some reason, which is really annoying

Was it the Panasonic DP-UB820EB-K by any chance ? If so have you tried the netflix/amazon apps at all ? I want to know if they stream 4k with dolby atmos (and whether they're ok speed wise or slow and clunky like TV apps tend to be.) Cheers.

Yes it was, I haven't tried the apps I use the ones on the TV, but it's an excellent machine. I'll try the apps when I get home

I got the 820 too. Also never use the apps as I got nvidia shield for that. The 820 has a great hdr optimiser for oled panels, it really does bring out the details alot better than my Samsung ks8500 player.

As to the netflix atmos question. Netflix say no, it's not officially supported but it does work, see avforums.com/thr…23/

By buying them through Amazon DE I managed to save over £100 in total for the Blu-ray and Sound bar. So why not?
