Just ordered this Laptop from PC World for £399 (home delivery only) but also got 2.5% off with Quidco making it a total of £389.
I know there will be people who say there are better Spec laptops for this price but if your like me and you like the Sony Make and more importantly the design of this laptop then this seams to the cheapest I can find this Laptop anywhere.
I'm not very good at linking the full spec up but you will find this laptop everywhere.
Hope this helps for those after this Laptop.

As you say, if you like the make........ this is probably a good deal.

Personally I hate anything Sony with a passion so will refrain from voting.

Not bad just make sure you remove all the bloatware that they install for you! Had a mate give me one to look at because he said it slow and he had only just got it! Took me a good hour to remove all the ****!

Was also given this link by a mate that removes a lot of the bloat with a simple uninstaller pcdecrapifier.com

Heres a link to the actual product (may want to amend the deal so the "Go to deal" button goes here)

Nice deal, looks good to me. Agree with Nerner - use the above program to remove the nonsense. With a Sony it will take about a while, but its not as bad as HP thankfully, its a wonder they even boot at all when you get them.

I agree to the comment about the brand being Sony which is much nicer looking anyway.

However just placed an order for HP 6735s about 30 min ago for £390. The L2 Cache is twice (2MB) and the processing power is 800 compared to 667 MHz. The above two definetely makes a big difference.

nonetheless, a good deal

I too looked at the HP6735s but after seeing them both side by side as I said before I prefer the Silver look of the Sony, but I agree I think the HP has better Spec, but seeing as I am mainly going to be using the laptop for internet use I don't think 0.0003 of a second faster for looking up internet pages means much to me.

This deal isn't on their website at all and the latop is an old, discountinued one apparently just in case anyone else is looking for this deal and confused like i was :?

IMHO ]this refurbished Toshiba deal with the dixons discount code at £309.99 looks better value or if you want a laptop with dedicated graphics then there are loads of good branded ones by Toshiba, HP and Acer under £400 ]here too.

I am currently looking for a family friend and £400 online seems to beat the local supermarket deal they nearly went for with their weekly shopping!
