My first post and hot for me, I hope it helps some fellow Sony shooters

The cheapest price I have ever seen this accessory, currently £229 on Amazon.

Use SUMMER10 - For £10 off to get to £159.

OR

Go through Quidco - QUIDCOFIVE for 5% Discount then 8% cash back takes it under £150.
(Quidco say the cashback only works with the QUIDCOFIVE code)

Forgive me. After such an inane post I could only assume if was you. I only hope your other 6000 + other posts have added a little more value to the site?

For the cold voters

1) I am sorry it is not a DVD and costs more than £2.99
2) I am sorry that you do not have a clue what you are voting on
3) I am sorry it is not a Canon or Nikon SLR product - how dare I have a Sony
4) I am sorry the deal is only approx. 35% / £79 cheaper than anywhere else in the UK with stock.
5) I am not sorry for my avatar

I collect mine from Jessops on Thursday. Please post where I can get it cheaper as I may be able to negotiate a further discount - this must be why it's cold, right? :?

Many thanks for this post! Nice to see some Sony Alpha stuff on here, and a very good price too. Its worth remembering that this is the better spec`ed grip available for the Alpha - oh, and your comments are well considered. There are too many people on here with too much time on their hands! I would like to see more things like this on HUHD - we all like cheap- DVD`s but more specialist items would be nice too! However - I STILL LOVE HUKD!!!!:)

ITS NOT A TIN OF BEANS AT 4P A TIN.....AAAARRGGHHH!!!!!

Fellow alpha user here

Thanks to the OP

I own a Nikon but can totally see this is a good deal. £79 off makes this red hot in my opinion. Ignore the cretin's post it's that kind of pointless comment that puts others off posting on here. (Why would someone even view a post that they were not interested in - let alone go to the effort of posting a reply.) My brother has the Alpha700 so this will be his Christmas present.

Thanks Stokiesi (but are you really sure about your 5th point "I am not sorry for my avatar") :-D

A good deal. But not as good as the battery grip deal for the A200 which was for £49 or less at Jessops.

seems like a lot of money just for a battery

It's more than just a battery, it's life itself or something or other lol. Seriously, it's a damn good bit of kit. Shame the op didn't post the features too.

Overview/features:

* Convenient for holding the camera in vertical position for portrait and people photography
* Doubling main operation control buttons both in horizontal and vertical position
* Identical control buttons position for ease of use
* Holds two high-capacity NP-FM500H batteries, doubling as a convenient handhold and large-capacity power supply
* Accurate remaining time indication of each battery (remaining battery power indication with single digit accuracy)
* Magnesium Body & Sealing against dust and Moisture

Good price, great item, makes the cam feel more balance IMHO when using telephoto PLUS allows more shots than my 4gb card can hold.......
