Hot

got the exact same model from comet in november for £16 (ex display and last one in stock) ....works great battery life is amazing

can u expand the memory? what vids does it support

I wouldn't say the Sony Walkman E453 sounds any better than Sansa Fuze or Clip+. It is a good player with great battery life and doesn't require any software to access the storage but doesn't support FLAC and OGG, has no expandable memory and is pretty much useless for anyone owning a decent set of headphones and listening to lossless music. I would get rockboxed Sansa any time over this.

Good for the price though, voted hot

I concur,My Rockboxed Fuze sounds fantastic with my Audio Technica es7's

ive gone for it. 35 pound for a sony mp3 cant be too bad for the casual listener not bothered too much with audio quality, especially as my zen is on the way out after 3 years. cheers OP

Well, the battery life is twice that of the Fuze.
The Fuze has a sd card slot for expansion.
I havent listened to the Sony, tho it seems a good price. I have a Fuze and the sound is great, battery life could be better. It works great for audio books, remembering where you left off.
(I'm talking about the original Fuze, not the new Fuze Plus with touch screen. )

The sound is fantastic from the Sony models, better than the I-plod and as good as my brother's I-River.. I have mine playing through my Sony cassette adaptor in my car (can't put a normal mp3/cd player in) and it's amazing in terms of its frequency response. The standard headphones are okay but a budget pair of Senheisers would be better, without breaking the bank. This is a perfect 'budget' mp3 player and would be a quality gift to give without having to resort to El Cheapo players etc.

I thought i would give it ago so i can stop using my zte blade as it drains the battery. The phone will be a ready stocked back up unless its louder oO Then it will be ebayed to try to recoup my money as looking at reviews they seem to be really low

You suck. Reev is bang on; the Sansa range is built like it's the product of 12-hours manual labour at the hands of a vicious factory-owning overlord. The Sony is the business, really a difference in quality. Also, if you're into lossless, you'd probably want to spend a little bit more than £35 for a player. This is a bargain. Reev's on the money, and Beorg is a snobby troll. Good day, Sir!
