Crying shame that they aren't the kind that can clip into your ear canal to stay in. My bose sound sports are unparalleled in that sense.

Nice spot again switchy, mine are mine are arriving wed or thur, from your last XM3 deal, few quid cheaper, but glad I got in on them early, as seems there might be a pre-order, resale premium for them soon!!!

I'm awful at describing it. Like those buds that have something poking out which is meant to stick into the outer canal.

Basically this.
38253600-47zj6.jpgPhotos do it better than my words ever will. Not sure if something like this is available for the Sony's as I'd grab them in a heart beat if they were. The difference they made to my bose sound sports is unreal. Amazing isolation and somehow improved bass.

Lol!! I knew, what you meant, I have them and even if someone didn't, I bet they knew, what you meant as well

I tried the XM3's last week, the ANC if 2nd to nothing I have tried before, they even put my MK3's to bed, got to say, they are going to surprise and delight, a lot of different users, in a lot of different ways, even the new stay puff put rubberized 2nd ear core (the bit that holds them in) has been tooled in a way, that even without the tri-hold points in the ear, they will still stay put!
I wish they did a powerbeats pro style hook for these

Ah I wasn't sure if you understood what I was getting at

When you say MK3, do you mean the Sony on ear versions with the basically unparalleled noise cancellation? Not trolling as I have the XM2 series and in between whether I should move them on or not as I have very sweaty ears.

I'll look these up in more depth because the Amazon reviews I saw, weren't the most glowing in that regard of them staying put.

Guessing a few members might not have twigged, but you should see some of my "variations" on what I know I meant!!!!!

Yes, I had my MK3's with me, at the same time as getting to try the XM3's, I have also had the the 2's in the past, so had plenty to compare the new ones with, as for the recent flurry of "reviews" from all the US of A buyers and "vine" reviewers, I tend to steer clear of all of them, try something out within the return period I can try them for, then if they are tat, back they go!

As its already up to a month wait for them, I had a feeling that they would get got like hot cakes, so decided to grab a pair, based purely on seeing them a month ago, then ordered from Switchys other deal, then tried a pair out last week, VS all my other junk stuff, when I played / used, the XM3's then did the same with the MK3 over ears, I was pretty shocked as to just how good they were, there is nothing better than the MK3's on the market, other than the crappy cannot do more than 1 device at a time issue, but the XM3's seriously just blew those out the park, mainly as you can take them anywhere and still use / get "almost" the same level of ANC and ambiance mix, as with the over ears!!

With the sweat side of things, the only way to know, is to try them, but for that, it would have to be Amazon and they have none at the moment!
Can this only be paired one device at a time? What about connecting to pc how do you do pair ?
I’d be cautious.

First off, this company isn’t listed as an official vendor on Sony’s site. Second, the RRP is actually £220 not £170. And third, who actually is this company!?

Only one at a time. To pair to a second device, place both buds in ears and hold the touch pad for 7 seconds

Unless it's apple or a company with global warranty, then you're basically not going to get warranty support buying off eglobal. This is however much debated area in HUKD and not everyone requires warranty when there is insurance cover.

You will find people for and against eglobal. All I know is, I ordered my sister's S10e off them and it's been absolutely brilliant since she's had. It's had roughly the same if not better battery life than my note 9.
How long do they take for delivery?

Also, how come the manufacturer doesn't support the warranty?
Can this be used for gym? I sweat a lot and they would have to replace my current jabra 65t which coped with sweat and rain really well

No ip rating, which I thought a poor move from Sony, especially when taking into account the flagship status of these buds.

Something to do with anc mics.....I think.

Also no onboard volume control!?!?! What the hell????

Yeah disappointing, wearing xm3 as we speak but they are pretty limiting as I wouldn't wear them outside my house...

Ear buds from Sony would be perfect but they have to be water resistant, unacceptable these days really.

I blame Boris!!!!

Been looking at the libratone track air +....seem to tick a lot of boxes.

Also don't like the styling of the Sony's.
But love the ANC, app and the supposed sound quality of the Sony's.

Neither do AirPods have volume control
Wouldn't touch those willy inspired airpods.....hate that type of design.

Because these are grey imports at best and your not buying from a Sony dealer in this country. Just like almost every other manufacturer out there who don't appreciate you buying from somewhere that hasn't paid the full price from a distributor.

I bought a pair of Sony MDR-1000X overear headphones from eGlobal once that became faulty. Contacted Sony UK and they took them back to repair with absolutely no problems at all.
Switch! Can't decide whether I need to start blocking your deals. I bought the Sony WF-1000X from your Amazon Warehouse deal a few months back for £50ish, now tempted to upgrade to these - great price, not sure if I should or not!
